Seriously?

Saying Mario copied LBP is just funny. Yeah, they're both 2D Platformers. A little secret though: Mario created the platforming genre. lolol.

On topic:

OoT is/was/will always be an amazing game. I think it's good to set for themselves high goals, instead of just resting on the success of OoT. I don't know if they'll be able to top it, but it'll be interesting to see what comes out of trying! View

It sold less than half as much than it did the month before. Yeah, that's a pretty quick drop just month by month. View

The Reason Why..
What Miyamoto means to say is that the Wii can't handle four completely different characters at once for a game like this.

This is different from Brawl, it's not like the four players will be on a stationary stage, there's a lot more going on. That's why they have to have the toads; since they're duplicates they will be easier to handle.

With a game like this, they need the frame extremely steady. It's all about timing, so anything that would cause slow down, they're just not going to risk. View

Great Score
Good to see this game getting a respectable score from IGN.

The "cliche" story is fine, as long as I get that FPS with precision control on the Wii that I've been craving.

I can really see HV turning The Conduit into a nice franchise. No doubt they'll improve it even further, as you can see in their new projects they're already making improvements to their engine and what they can do on the Wii.

Everyone please support this game with a purchase! View

@ jtucker78

I don't understand why you're depressed about video game sales. I think its fantastic that games like these are all selling so well; it shows the industry isn't slowing down or going anywhere.

Are you seriously yelling at the public for buying Mario Kart? I just don't understand

(And English is my first language ;P)

Whether it gives fanboys fuel or not, it really doesn't matter. No one should take anything about videogames personally.

Its really nice to see Brawl in the number 4 spot. A lot of effort went into that game, and hopefully these sales will translate to another really great sequel. View

Goes to show you how many people comment without actually reading any of the article.

"we put some waggle in the Wii. So, we developed some magic wands that made it seem like you were bowling and crap like that and we threw it on the market. Who knew that people would actually love it?"

"Our AI will be able to complete every level of a game and our loyal fans will feel like they’ve really accomplished something because seeing is doing after all."

"At Nintendo we have a word for gamers (or people as you may call them) who aren’t skilled enough to finish our games like Mario Galaxy or Zelda: The Twilight Princess. We call them “disabled.” "

Come on people, actually read the articles before you start bashing Nintendo's next consoles lmao. View

Replying to a few comments....
"The Wii really isn't the same as PS3 and Xbox 360. You can't even save music or videos on it. The game-play is completely different than on PS3 and Xbox 360"

These kinds of statements are really pointless. Never have systems been exactly the same, and if it was all about keeping systems the same and never trying new things, we'd probably still be playing 8-bit games on crappy D-pads.

It's worse now that even the companies are starting to claim these things...

Many markets experience change and variety, this is what keeps the market competitive and growing. Sony's just in denial so they don't have to face competition.

"Nintendo showed that you can make a fortune off of shovelware and required peripherals?"

Nintendo's not dishing out shovelware, and you talk as if Nintendo invented shovelware. These companies didn't pop out of no-where, they follow the most popular console. Am I the only one who remembers how many crappy games were on the PS-One, PS2, and other consoles?

" I don't want a game where to have to act like your swinging a tennis racket to play it-- I'll just go play tennis if I want to do that. Likewise with golf, or whatever."

Well I wish I had a tennis court, a bowling alley, golf course, etc all in my bedroom at once. Sure doing the real thing is great...but does this mean you're against every hockey, football, basketball, skateboarding, and baseball game ever created?

After all, I know *I'd* rather just go do the real thing. View

Sega's just the publisher. They have nothing to do with the developing. The development team is responsible for Okami and other great games full of substance.

Madworld shouldn't just be a stylish game that plays crappy. View

She looks the exact same in the scene on the 360. It's a bad capture.

Erm, when I say the same I mean obviously graphically downgraded, but the chins and such are in both versions. View

Lmao.
"right on this site some univeristy ran some tests and said wii fit is a gimick."

Lmao "N4G told me it was a gimmick"

I, too, have used the Wiifit, and although some of the exercises and balance games are pointless, there's a great number that make you sweat, work hard, and sweat more. You just need to be able to pick out the obvious exercises that are good.

But with some people here lacking original thought, I can see how that could be a problem. View

Humble? Sony is one of the most arrogant gaming companies ever. They have a history for actually stirring up fanboyism, or talking trash about competitors when the other companies usually stay out of it.

Sony's a lot of things, but they're not humble.

I loved my PS1 and PS2, and I hope that in a couple years I'll love a PS3 too, so this isn't a notch taken from the PS3 specifically, I'm just amazed to see Sony be referred to as humble lol. View

Uhg..
I'm not sold yet about this feature, because it could mean anything, but...

What is the bid deal? People complain when Nintendo bringing people to the casual crowd, and now they're complaining about Nintendo bringing the casual crowd to hardcore games? It's been said that they're hoping to eventually graduate casual gamers into people who enjoy hardcore games.

"I hate Nintendo!" "WII IS DEAD!" "EVIL!"-- are you people serious? That's like hating on a game, franchise, and developer all for adding a very easy mode...

A million games offer easy modes for the very same reason this mode would be added; for those who aren't very good at games but still want to enjoy them.

We as gamers have never discouraged that, and just because this feature is a little more flashy doesn't mean it's the end of the gaming world as we know it.

lmao any excuse to hate Wii and yell at Nintendo... View

It's funny that when Nintendo doesn't announce new games in their franchises, it's because Nintendo doesn't care about it's core players. When they release them too quickly? They're cash whores. There's really no winning I guess. View
