Multitasking during a game? Blasphemy.
This is one of the big reasons I don't play MMOs in the first place. I want games that are immersive enough to require my undivided attention. Listening to a real-world album while questing through a fantasy would would just kill it for me. View

Flaws aside, I enjoyed this game enough to both reach the credits AND watch them. View

Anyone remember The Incredible Machine?
If they made a version of that with real physics, I'd be all over it. Crayons are cool, but I want things that explode :-) View

Sounds like a marketer's dream
Now, marketers can target you by measuring your internet activity. But with a system like this, they could theoretically record every single word you type, and every application you use and game you play that's designed to send data to the miniature screen. View

Perhaps unrelated, but...
...the new Nielsen report also shows that soft drink consumption is still on the rise. View

The thing that gets me is that you could apply this to anything that gets the attention of the general public for a moment. ANYTHING. View

I love the new cover
because it reminds me of that awesome ink-styled trailer. But I also <3 Chun-Li. If one of the two versions came with a Chun-Li figure, that would seal the deal for me. View

Great to hear that employees won't have to look far for work, but of course this only serves to hasten the demise of Free Radical.

The company's name may become tragically apt in its final hours. View

Console S-3D? Wonderful. Now I've just got to get an HDMI-capable TV... View

Funny thing is...
No matter how much crap I hear about Phantom, I've always kind of wanted to try the Lapboard. It looks slick, and if it cost less I might consider one. View

I don't know
if the railroading is quite as bad as Jesse says. The platforming sequences sure, and that's a tremendous shame, but there's a good deal of freedom in how you pick your route through the world. I spent a few hours intentionally steering opposite of the way Elika suggested I go, but never ran into an invisible wall or barrier, just another interesting path to take... and by the time I'd played everything I could that way, I already had enough light seeds to unlock the next path.

If there were a little more complexity to the gameplay, PoP would be one for the ages. As is, we'll have to see if it manages to step out of the Sands of Time shadow. View

I love Steam, but I have to agree -- I can't think of a good reason to charge retail for a product without physical collectibles, and to gauge the Europeans who have been loyal customers.

On the plus side though, perhaps the Rest of World group will finally get their prayers answered as publishers make a beeline for the suddenly-more-profitable distribution channel? View

Amazing.
The iPhone really is becoming a viable games platform. MGS on iPhone... I can hardly believe this day has come. View

When faced with such issues
Many will just give up and try to return the thing... or lurk on the forums, hoping for a fix. View
