Explain to me how Sony gave up on gaming on the day M$ had their press conference? Explain to me how they gave up when their conference is scheduled for tomorrow. Oh they lost FF exclusivity. However, if you were to do a little more groundwork, you would realized that there will not be a 360 version in Japan but there will be a PS3 version in Japan, Europe,AND the US. Now that says that 360's don't sell squat in Japan(see Blue Dragon). In addition PS3 sell no matter what territory. View

Brilliant strategy for Sony..................
That is not to say that it wasn't a huge risk for Sony.

Now that Blu is the clear-cut winner(or will be shortly) now does this show legitimacy for the format in the movie/hi-def industry but it also shows that Blu is a legitimate medium to put games on.

In my opinion, M$ only option is to go Blu in the future. Games will only get bigger in scale from now on(Lost Odyssey is four discs).

There was an article not long ago about M$ talking about Blu-Ray this whole time. Seems to me that downloading movies isn't growing as fast as they like.

Then M$ can just go with that other disc medium that stores more(theoretically). How much would that make the new console. View
