It doesn't quite work like that... Engine take a huge amount of timke and resources to build and so most developers don't have the capacity to build something as powerful as Unreal 3. Plus it's a case of who's got the most promising business model, and while I'm not 100% sure, I'd say that Unreal 3 was reasonably priced when considering it's competition... View
