The article states that the "Heaviest" of gamers play MMOs. You can be a Heavy Gamer if you play COD4 or Halo a lot. Also, knowing the basic knowledge of your gaming history makes sense. Its annoying when you talk to people who claim they know a lot about video games but claim they used to own a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom for the N64.
BTW, the Magnavox Odyssey was the first video game console. Atari created Pong and the rest is history.
