I think that you should go and play Kameo again @NewZealander. Because I think that you still have the same impression of the game when it came out and you saw HD for the first time.

Your product is over specd' and over priced
The PS3 cost the same as an X360 Elite and it comes with blu-ray, wi-fi, free online, etc... On top of that, the PS3's reliable, not a time bomb like the X360.

And again, X360 fans pulling things out of their ass. Seriously, the Gamer Zone it's not much different than the Open Zone... Stupidity reigns on both. View

What are you talking about? Sony have been talking about the 10 years life circle plan since the day they introduced the console and now you come saying that they can't produce a new console because the X360 and Wii are staying longer on the market?

In other words, Devs use the weaker console because if they started the game on PS3 and go crazy adding things on the blu-ray disc or try to achieve Killzone 2 graphics then the game couldn't be possible for the X360. And at the end both versions have to look the same to not affect the sales. View

Come on @Soda I already pwned the Mart and a couple of other users on the forums for saying that the X360 renders 1080p native... The funny thing is that Mart's so delusional that he doesn't even believe Microsoft when they say that the Xbox 360 doesn't do 1080p. It seems like the Mart know things about the X360 that not even MS knows. =|

the Xbox does the same with the 1080p as the PS2 with pro-scan because the PS2's doesn't produce 480p natively. A software solution.

Longevity-wise?

MGS4 alone it's longer than Halo 3 and Gears of Wars combined! And it has multiplayer too so I think you need to look for a better excuse than "Longevity".

clarification: I'm not saying that you can't like Halo 3 more than MGS4 but to make a statement that you prefer them more because of "Longevity" it's just plain dumb. Or are you implying Longevity in the sense of fun? That's the only thing I could think about to make sense of your comment. View

+ First, no PS3 fan have ever said that PSN it's superior to LIVE, if you have read anything like it then it probably was in the Open Zone where you see fanboys arguing against fanboys with fabricated/exaggerated facts.

*With just that your argument/joke/sarcasm is now completely pointless but lets continue...

+ Second, Rockstar is making a PS3 exclusive game so they can't be part of this conspiracy against Sony.

- Everybody hates VGchartz but not NPD, I just don't know from where you get that...

- IGN isn't part of the conspiracy either. They rated Resistance 2 and Folklore pretty high compared to the other sites to even consider them to be against Sony but the others are. In fact, Kotaku is a well known Sony hater(have you been living under a rock?) and joystick is flooded with X360 fans(and N4G with PS3 fans) so what do you expect?

- If Activision said that they were going to drop X360 support and Valve saying that the X360 it's a waste of time, what would you be saying about those companies on your comments? Mjum, the same that PS3 fans are saying now... If not then you're the very definition of an hypocrite. View

Restricting the resolution to 720p didn't make much sense when millions of TVs are 1366x768, and thus the image has to be scaled to fit them anyway.
That's exactly why Metal Gear Solid 4 was rendered at the resolution it was, 1024x768. It wasn't that the PS3 couldn't handle the 720p resolution for MGS4 but because that resolution was beneficial for most LCD HDtv's that are 1366x768 to prevent the vertical lines to be up-scaled and cause the image to be even more aliased because the 16:9 aspect ratio was out of focus.

But no, people just told me that I was a fanboy, that didn't know what I was talking about and that I was just defending the game sub-par HD resolution because it was a PS3 exclusive... I love this articles that prove me right at the end. =)

After seeing the 1 million pre-orders of MW2 for the X360 compared to a mere 65,000 for Uncharted 2 I almost crap my pants. Even though Uncharted 2 seems like the #1 contender for "Game of Year" most people just doesn't give a Sh1t about the game.

Now imagine a new IP like Heavy Rain releasing this fall... It would have been an instant flop(from a sales perspective). Everybody is so hyped for MW2 that any other games don't matter. =( View
