My thoughts exactly
With Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M happening next year, plus rumors of the next Zelda being pushed back to 2011 anyways, this is exactly what I think will happen.

There are plenty of indicators regarding Nintendo working on their next console, and there's no way it'll launch later than 2011, lining it up perfectly with the next Zelda (which the team says will have great graphics. I wonder why?) View

Zelda's rebirth
It's a topic that I am always interested in talking about, and I genuinely think that the next Zelda game is going to be "different" (in quotes because I hope that's in a good way).

Not to get plug-happy, but it's also a topic we've covered before. Is this similar to what you're talking about, WMW?

To me, they're a disgrace
I've been put off by the VGAs and how they promote gamers as edgy a-holes. I forget, don't they have the "Fueled by Dew" award?

Most gamers are level-headed. I'd say most gamers watching the VGAs also didn't agree with the way they blatantly objectified women. Add those horrible decisions to the joke-like awards they made, and the constant and in-your-face advertising and awful choices for musical acts and comedians.

I've never thought that the people in charge of this ceremony actually respect the industry or the medium. It makes me wish that another, more sensible, organization made an awards show each year to compete with it. View

Part deux
There's still a chance that the original episode 150 could be released, hopefully. There will be more guests in the future, too.

And thanks for the patience and support, people. Remember that it can be rated on iTunes: http://bit.ly/3T5LYQ View

So depressing
It's sad when both companies decided to actually INCREASE the price on these increasingly unoriginal games. Even if it's The Beatles, a $250 bundle is a slap in the face. And then Activision knows that the Wii versions of Guitar Hero are selling like crazy, so the normal disc version got kicked up another $10, now on par with the 360 and PS3 versions.

And people say Jack Thompson is ruining gaming. Bobby Kotick, anyone? View

Hopefully
Nintendo actually goes through with banning cheaters, but even more I want this to be a wake-up call for them to put effort into a real online system with the next console. View

It'll change
The fact that it won't change was never confirmed. Miyamoto said it won't "radically change," but his idea of radical is MUCH different than other people's idea of "radical."

The fact is, he's basically confirmed that we will see plenty of change, in that he plans to integrate MotionPlus to the point that it may be exclusive to the device. View

Colored peripherals
Not gonna lie, I really want that gold Wii Wheel. I guess any colored peripherals would be nice, or maybe some sort of voucher to trade in these plain white ones. View

True
I do comment on that a bit, but you're absolutely right. It's one of the things I like to discuss as well. After all, N4G is centered around the enthusiast press, created out of it, right? I'm interested in knowing what a better direction is for the gaming press.

Again, I like discussion, not just claiming I'm a heightened journalist. That's why it's in a blog format. View

Hilarious
I'd understand if it was horribly written. It was combed and proofread, and it certainly is a rant. Of course, trigger-happy reports and fast clicks on it being low quality only further serve the point it makes, yes?

Just give it a read through. I mention myself that I am likely wrong, and I welcome debate. I like opening a dialogue on topics like this. View

I'd also like to see a new Brave Fencer Musashi. View

This game looks great
I love Ikaruga, so any WiiWare game that emphasizes offensive vs. defensive play sounds great to me. And the controls are intriguing, aren't they?

Hopefully the motion control doesn't ruin it. View

Sorry, I just HAD to
Regardless of any question in newsworthiness, it is interesting to look at how non-gamers view the Wii. It's turned into some workout machine, as opposed to a gaming console.

In the end, talking about Victoria Beckham getting a Wii, to me, is talking about wishing she didn't. I'd rather see a person of public interest taking interest in gaming as a whole, not just in the manner gamers wished they didn't.

But it's news (per the accepted news values), and I like hearing input about things like this, so I posted it. View

I can understand the box art
But not even as a driver? That just doesn't make sense to me. Then again, a lot of licensing things don't make sense to me, like the NFL's exclusivity with the Madden series. That just drives me nuts. View

Looks good
Anyone play Gyrostarr at all? I'm a fan of that game, but I wish there were more online capabilities for it. Maybe we'll see some good multiplayer and online functionality in this one? View

Absolutely
And while I've heard these sorts of stories before, I think it is nice to see that amongst the things this organization decided would make a great thanks for these troops' service, a game console is on that list. View

Re-download?
I absolutely hated Nintendo's vision of a re-download service. At some point they finally had to realize that we hated having to delete WiiWare and VC games in order to download others.

Even 2-4 gigs of extra space won't last me very long. I wonder how big these downloadable songs will be? View

@IanCube
I think this is a step in the right direction, though. I think logic will tell most readers of the study that if more "immersive" controls aren't doing any damage, neither will pushing buttons. View

The categories?
I'm just curious about how the categories are setup. How come the Wii and 360 are different from video games?

My guess is that the video games portion includes the physical games for the system, like Wii Fit or something. That way, the only thing beating out the console, are the games a parent will buy for the console they already own. View

I wouldn't say that either, necessarily
You're right, they are upping production. There is no doubt about that. But I'm talking long-term. The Wii was limited to begin with, and the demand increased. Then they increased production for last holiday season, and the demand rose even more as they became limited again. I don't think they are producing less, by any means.

If I could revise what I said to include the fact that their supplies are closely monitored, I think you may see what I am implying. The marketing of the Wii has been outstanding, their supplies are no doubt part of that. View
