You're a funny one.
Journalist? Good one. When he actually makes an article that has a title which makes sense, isn't utter flame bait and in the post itself, attempts to use punctuation properly.

When he can do the above, I'll take him seriously.

Also, being invited to big events etc. isn't as hard as you think. View

@tdrules
I'm from Europe and when you click on the get a Spotify account, it comes up with a pop-up box saying "Get Spotify Free
Spotify Free is currently in an invitation-only beta, which means you need to have received an invitation token to access the service."

You enter your email and go onto a waiting list.

Unless by Europe, it actually means mainland Europe. View

Don't see it happening for a long time.
Isn't Spotify still in beta? If I remember rightly, its been in it for quite some time now too.

If it came to consoles, what would happen with Spotify premium? As I doubt it'd let you download the songs and store them on your Xbox etc. and let you play them offline. View

Doesn't bother me.
Can't say that ad's in games have ever bothered me because the majority of the time I don't even notice that they're there.

As another user on N4G has already said, as long as it doesn't cut to a commercial break during a load screen, I see no problem with it. It also does depend on the type of game being played, if it fits in to the 'real world' scenario that is being set during the game (sports games, racing games etc.) you'd expect to see advertisements all over the place anyway.

If I was playing Super Mario Bros and all of a sudden Mario started wearing Nike branded shoes and Luigi starts to talk about getting a mortgage with Ocean Finance, then I'd be pissed. View

You mean like that thing called a PC which Mass Effect was already released on? View

Has this actually been passed now?
I know it got submitted to parliament, but it has to also go through the EU (I think?) And as far as I knew that the (some) parliament members had said yes but they haven't put it through the EU.

Surely they'll say no about it... I remember one politician saying no about it because the person who was submitted the bill had tried to get into parliament numerous times and failed every time. View

Same.
What the hell does that title even mean? I've read it 4-5 times now and still can't figure it out. I may just be retarded at this moment and time and struggling to read but I'm sure it doesn't make sense.

Considering he has the writing skills of a 5 year old, it would explain if it didn't make sense. View

Yeah...
Let's just blame Microsoft when it was actually Sky who was having the problems. View

@TotalPS3Fanboy
Mate, you need to get it out of your head that it's just 'a few lines of code quickly put in', something as small as that could take months as it also has to pass through quality testing and then actually put out as a patch.

And the reason why the Xbox 360 version had achievements was because it was mandatory that all retail games (since the 360's launch) have achievements built into them. At the time of Call of Duty 4 came out, it was only optional for developers to put it in. View

Do you really see this happening though?
I really don’t see this happening. There are rumours about Valve being bought out every few months, so far this year we’ve seen rumours about both Google and EA buying Valve. They’ve always been known as an independent company, so I don’t see them changing it.

Also, do Zenimax even have the dolla’ to buy Valve? The franchises they own (Half Life, Counter Strike etc.) must be worth a killing on there own, let alone the development studios that are under Valve’s wing. And as Steam is also a part of Valve… y’know, like the biggest digital distribution platform, that surely must be worth a pretty penny too?

I understand that Zenimax must have quite a lot of $$$ but still, do they have THAT much to buy Valve? View

Review copy..
The review copy is the final build of the game. It's been available for some time now, it's the same version that all sites have reviewed. I know, my copy is sat in my 360 right now.

Some of the glitches they've pointed out are quite ridiculously, however some of them are just pathetic due to the amount of effort they've gone through to try and spot the glitch in the first place. View

Oh the irony!
'it's to get a rise out of the N4G community. And it worked.'

You're trying to do the exact same thing, except it's making you look like even more of an idiot for point out what they did, accusing them of doing it and then* doing it yourself.

Also, why is there a picture of the Future logo? Did I miss something? N4G has nothing to do with Future, they make me affiliated with Games Radar and Daily Radar, but they aren't actually apart of the Future portfolio of websites. View

Definitely will give this one a pass..
Personally, I can't say I'm to comfortable knowing hundreds of watts are flying by around me.
The whole... getting a fairly bad electric shock from a f*cked wire kinda makes me nervous about the whole concept. Hey it could work, but I'd much rather stick with wires, where I know where the electricity is. View

Seriously?
"I hate to say it but I cant bring myself to play or buy any more 360 games now that Drakes 2 has presented a level of game that is way above anything that the 360 has to offer. "

Why're people so obsessed with how good games look? Pretty much from what you've just said is "I'm not playing anything that looks worse than Uncharted 2".
It's not just about graphics. Earth Defence Force 2017 is one of the crappiest looking games around yet I'd still take it over near-enough every other game around today just because it's so much fun.

You're going to have a sh*tty gaming experience if you're only buying the games that look fantastic. You're going to miss out on so many other great titles because you (seem) to think every game which isn't on par with Uncharted 2 won't be worth playing. View

I really do love
the conspiracy theories people on N4G come up with about review scores from certain websites, some are absolutely hilarious.

From what I've gathered over the past week or so; if a Microsoft game gets a good review score it instantly means that Microsoft has paid for that score however if a Sony game gets a good score it instantly means that it's genuinely the best thing since sliced bread and that website is now credible because of it. I'd like to see the 'fanboys' reaction if Eurogamer and EDGE gave Uncharted 2 10's, would that then mean the sites are in the good books again until the next Microsoft exclusive?

Has anyone hear ever actually thought about just because the game is using an old engine and doesn't do anything new, it is still a good game? It is possible y'know, if the things which are in the game are incredibly well done, it deserves a good score. Killzone 2 got a good score and that did nothing new but just looked incredible yet it still got good scores.

Also, might I add before the 'fanboys' come out in force, I'm not specifically talking about ODST, just an in general thing. View

Hell yes!
EDF 2017 is the one game I truly want a sequel of, yeah it looked like crap but the game was just that much fun it didn't matter at all - not in the slightest little way.

A sequel with more weapons with bigger explosions, more enemies on screen (if possible?) and 4 player co-op over Live.

Give me that, and I will not need another game for a long, long time. I'm still making my way through Inferno, getting there, slowly but surely! :) View

It really doesn't work like that..
You simply can't compare review scores between different games, especially when the reviews are written by different people.

Everyone has there own opinion on how the scale should work. Some sites use the 7-9 scale (7 being average) while other sites use the full 1-10 scale and 5 being average.

If we're using your logic about if a score gets higher than another game. I might as well say that World of Goo is better than Killzone 2 because it's 3 points higher on Metacritic. View

Embargo..
I really, really doubt the review is legit as I'm pretty sure the proper embargo doesn't lift until tomorrow evening.

If anything, it'll be a review from someone who has downloaded the pirate version. View

This bit made me laugh
"Okay I apologize for counting 1&2 together, but I seriously love Tifa cosplaying, and these two girls both do a fantastic job of delivering the ‘Tifa package’."

It seems that someone has a certain fetish. View
