this is about hype
there was so much smack talk before this game came out. i don't remember to much talk about Halo Wars being the PS3 killer, or an RTS to end all other RTS games. this is less about the games and more about eating crow. sometimes it tempting to write checks before you have money in the bank. just don't be pist when the bank busts your can because the money never was deposited. the junk talkers are eating some right now, thats all this is. $72,000,000. Thats big money boys. If they even get half of that, they are rockin' and rollin'!!! Sony has a great potential for cash over PSN with close to 800,000. This is assuming alot. Broadband connection being just one variable, but it just blows my mind the amount of money families are spending on consoles and the potential revenue these consoles could generate. Imagine if the world economy wasn't going to crap. WOW! View

i started using this because of the choppyness i get in video when using IE7. Maxthon is based on IE, but it just "seems" to run better for me. Give it a try.

How about UT3 for 360
I probably would have bought if released at the same time as the others, but it felt old to me when it was released for the xbox. Never have played it. Probably never will. Would be the same for MGS. For me, part of the purchase is the hype of not knowing whats in the game. Not really knowing about the game until I play it the same time as everyone else. Hate spoilers. View

set expectations too high
just not feeling it. everything just seems too busy. too many things(highlights and bars, things to throw, droids, etc...) on screen taking my attention away from the game. i think i'm getting used to not having a HUD in games. hope i don't feel the same way about MERCS 2!!! just getting too old to play these types of games i guess. using above "posted" website, compare these two companies. does Sony sell a crap load of goods? hell yes!!! does MS put more in the bank? just compare!!!!!! profits is the number to look at if your interested. remember assets incur depreciation on balance sheets. $1 spent doesn't equal $1 gained which doesn't equal $1 saved. you might have to spend $4 to make $5 only to save $1.

Rumors start from small facts...What if
what if this is not for the 360? these comments sound more like the vague specs for the "Xbox Next". Suppose someone caught wind of something and just assummed it was for the 360. maybe these are the pre-workings to the next console release in a few years. it might be years from now, but you know it takes time to make consoles for inventory. it just doesn't happen over night. has MS ever mentioned the 360s life span? not real sure myself. Paradise should have an advantage
this meaures TOTAL game play. SP and MP combined. some of these games don't even have a MP aspect. games that do should be a shoe in for a top 10 spot. if they are worth the time to play of course. we can debate if this game is great or not, but if nobody plays it, it really doesn't matter what we think. the masses have the final word and in return, publishers will give us what "we" want in the future. that is why all the cookie cutter crap floating around the shelves right now!!! I bought solely for movies
No joke. after the recent news about hd-dvd's death, i bought a PS3. $399 for a stand alone or $399 for PS3. personally i hate the ps3 controller, but i'm a S controller homer. just feels better. i have the 360 for gaming and if something ever happens where blu-ray fails, at least i have a console to sell rather than a stand alone worthless piece of equipment. love the ps3 for movies and incorporating my AVCHD from my HG10, but still love the 360 for gaming. frame rate, loading at times got a little old, and assignments being somewhat the same sure as hell didn't take away anything for me. to be honest, i'm really not a rpg guy, but i was kind of sad after i finished this game. this turned into a 25 hr. nightly routine for me. i'm waiting for ME2!!! maybe i'll give Oblivion a shot. you don't like Killzone? Haze? i love them and yes i buy them! a hell of alot of them to be honest. once again there must a market or the XBOX or PC wouldn't have lasted this long. let me guess... you hate Counter Strike and Rainbow Six too! i can only talk from my perspective. i'm a gamer that spends close to $240 a month on games. people like me, who spend money on what they like, are sought after by companies. Outselling the 360? yes! Dominating?
