-Consoles need dashboard updates and FW updates just like Windows Update and driver updates.

-With this gen, even the "local play" argument on consoles are starting to fade away as split-screen gets shafted and online play is pushed more because publishers want to sell more copies of a game.

-If you hang out with console gamers, you'll see them pack up their consoles more. If you hang out with PC gamers, you'll see them pack up their PCs more. Just Christmas, me and 3 other friends hooked up our PCs together to play L4D2. And we're all PC and console gamers.

-PC gaming has always existed since the early 80s and continues to innovate in many ways. There's a learning curve for PC gaming; either you get it or you don't. Consoles were made for people that "don't get PC gaming". View

Doesn't change the fact your post is irrelevant to the article. The article is about Crysis, not your personal views on graphics. View

Well, Japan has crazy-erotic fetishes and America has crazy Catholic-Jingoist crusaders. The world balances itself out in a strange, but logical way. Every country has their own set of freaks. View

It's the "airport". I'd be sleeping too because of how long it takes to board and pass security over here in the states. View

Do we really need SATA 3.0 yet? HDD Speeds on average aren't even enough to barely break past SATA so far. I'm not a fan of Intel's latest CPU movement with LGA1156 and LGA1366. Just pick one socket and stick with it FFS! View

Exactly, We need Nvidia to show up AMD/ATI so we can get better deals on our GFX cards.

What I'm trying to figure out is what is taking Nvidia so long? View

While it's ok to assume that Bungie releases their games in September. But this is where speculation comes in.

Does Microsoft release Halo Reach in September to kick off the Summer Drought? Or does Microsoft release Halo Reach in November to soak up the Holiday sales? Halo and Halo 2 released in November, but Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST released in September. And we can all agree that the only reason Halo 3 ODST was released in September was to avoid MW2. View

That DLC better be $1-2 a piece. I'm not paying anything over $4. View

This is what GameStop's policies get you. "Don't play the hero". Gamestop Corp. better compensate that employee big time for doing his job AND following policies. If that guy came around where I live, he'd be shot dead already before police got there.

This is also what happens with gun control. You keep the guns away from the honest people but criminals always find a way to get their hands on one. The only losers here are the honest people because they're the ones at the business end of an illegal firearm with little way to defend themselves. However, if you walk into a store knowing that everyone working there is armed, you're going to think twice(four times) about doing anything stupid. That's called "deterrence" and it works effectively. View

Frankly, 4 missions and the stated "6 hour gameplay" sounds very iffy. It's going to be scaled by skill most likely, so for vets like me. Call it in at 1hr 20min most likely? View

The best games always have a nice blend of both. That's been proven over and over again.

Having said that, I prefer the realistic shadowing that Conviction does as that makes a world of difference we all can clearly see. February can't come soon enough! View

For an Unreal 2.5 Engine, this looks very good. Goes to show not to judge games by the engine name itself. But how the engine is used to achieve results. View

Good article and this part sums it all up quite nicely.
"In the end the gamer decides what they like and why they like to do it, as it should be. To judge others on their choice, to call a gamer with a low score a ‘noob’ or one with a high score a ‘nerd with no life’, is just plain ‘point’less." View
