I'd rather have the ESRB reform than allow government control over it, to be honest. It's kind of unfair that there are R rated movies that have content which would otherwise make a game rated AO. Seems like movies can get away with more stuff than a game can, and if a game gets rated AO then nobody will publish and/or stock it in stores.
Movies and games perhaps shouldn't be compared like that, as they are both completely different forms of media; however, it would be nice to see some ratings board do a better job! Many countries don't even have a difference between what would be our M/AO rating, it's just 18+ and the 18+ rating isn't an auto-ban by the publisher or the gamestores like it is in the USA.
