I'm kinda starting to get irritated with these "DLC", because in most cases, we are just paying extra money to unlock features that are already on the disc that we originally purchased. I've seen DLC for Time Attacks, Bonus Stages, Uniforms/weapons, etc. Yes, I purchased my share of junk, but now, I'm starting to question it all...

Reasonable DLC's are, IMO
Extra in-game money ( hey, it helps)
Dev-exclusive contents( like Kratos sackboy, for Example)
And NEW storylines, like how The Lost and Damned should be.

Oh, and 1/3 of the retail price of the game IS a bit pricey. Even Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix might be more worth the $20( minus $5, since the game is only $15). View

SONY is only interested in duplicating the wii controller so that SONY can 'directly compete' with the Wii, in the sense where if the Wii gets a explosive hit game (from somewhere), SONY can 'tempt' the other devs to bring the game to the PS3. SONY has that "What Wii can do, SONY can do better" state of mind right now. Not to mention, we all know SONY does'nt like to feel "behind" or obsolete,

Purchasing the PS3mote any time soon. Indeed, just using it looks sexy, but that's 'bout it.
( Maybe if they can add 'sensor-use' to it[ flick 3mote 2 right to skip a scene, upside-down to pause, etc.], it will be more enticing, IMO)

Otherwise, I'll just wait for that "PSwii" controller....

....Commercials were hot.
The LBP one with the apartment building kinda wow'ed me, and the T-shirt one made the system look entertaining. SONY can easily modify the commercials at the end and show the games advertised individually ( kinda like the 'Greatest Hits' commercials).

SONY is probably saving that advert. money to advertise after this "game-war storm". Because, as of right now:

Wii is on a different plane than PS3, which equals little to no competition.

360 is down and (almost) out, which leaves the PS3 all by itself.

I mean, if your (almost) the only console standing, why advertise at the moment? SONY made consumers aware of what was in store for the PS3 from the start. Although advertising could boost sales by a few percents, it might be more prominent to do so later, after MS or Nintendo make their next console move. By that time, people will need to be refreshed on why the PS3 is (still) the better system. MS has always been a marketing roundhouse, so extra advertising the company does now is only keeping the console afloat.

About GTA4, I think:

The radio stations are too short ( or limited) to cover the massive world that the game offers. I think Rockstar should make DLC to enhance a few of these things ( T.V channels, gear, etc.)

The "dating" thing IS annoying. I mean, there's so much to do, yet you feel pressured to go on dates and drive drunk with Roman ( which makes me dizzy) and it has no 'real' significance to the story. Annoying areas of gameplay depletes the interest of the gamer after a while.

And although we got the great gameplay and graphics, deep down inside, we also wanted a good story to compliment the overall experience. The reason most lose interest is because the story goes nowhere, fast, unfortunately.

One of the best things GTA4 has going is the online community. It's much more exciting playing online. But even with it's flaws, it's still one of the more entertaining games this year, nonetheless.

And of all the things I mentioned, there are games out there ( with a lesser production value) that do include these features and standard expectations. Maybe it sounds like I'm complaining, but I just thought that RS would keep up with the game, like DLC that installs new stations that have relative and fresh material. Maybe new music ( since the overall list IS short, and we can't use our own XMB music). Decorating the city or adjusting the weather to reflect the seasons would have been sexy...

In my city, I go to many GS's and I do noticed that they store the Wii and 360 games in the front, with PS3 in the rear.

Also, they often have a Wii or 360 system demo (or both) for everyone to play, but no PS3 system demo.

But other than assuming that I want the 360 version of the multi-platform game that I'm asking for, they do promote all games alike, from posters to pre-order deals.

...Oh, and the workers can be really bias in their own respects ( one guy told me that Golden Axe:BR is "more fun" on the 360,WTF?) View

DC probably funded most of the money to design this game, hence, allowing DC to "have their way".
