Havn`t played SOCOM all that much before, and this seems very MGS4 like. That`s not a bad thing at all ;) View

Hehe yeah, i was surprised to hear him too, didn`t know he was going to be a part of it. I guess it`s cool that such a big star will be in it, but i get what you`re saying ;)

Seems like an ok game,and i`m sure co-op will be fun, but with R2, Bioshock, Mirror`s Edge, Far Cry 2, and Fallout 3 as candidates, i don`t think i`ll pick it up. R2 and Bioshock is a given and maybe Fallout 3 as well, even though i more after a Oblivion type RPG (that means swords and spells by the way, i know the same company is making them) ;) View

I`m norwegian, so i can read danish, which the story is written in. It dosn`t say if it`s in game or not, although it said scene, so maybe an in game cutscene ?

Regardless, can`t wait for more details of HR. The first tech demo was great, and i hope to see more at Leipzig ;) View

Well, PC is a lot of things in reality since "everyone" has their own, but i think we can agree that generally it has better hardware, but it cost you a lot more, because you have to upgrade to play games. I do think the PC market in itself is doing fine, but for a lot of people it`s just a workstation, and obviously the casual audience has gotten more attention in recent years, as Wii, Eye Toy etc show.

What game you must have ? For PS3 i would say MGS4, COD4 is great fun, i really want Oblivion for a RPG, a lot of people like GTA4 (i think it`s not that good, but). I have a lot of games on my maybe to buy list this year:
- Resistance 2
- Bioshock (if the port`s good)
- Mirror`s Edge seems interesting
- Far Cry 2 (open world FPS)
- Motorstorm 2 (for Co-op and to have a racing game, although i might pick up Burnout instead)
- LBP because it seems fun and has co-op. Can`t wait to see what comes out of that game, i don`t agree it`s limited.
- Fallout 3 seems really fun in a dark kind of way
- Star Wars FU

I havn`t even mentioned all the upcoming games for 2009 and we still have Leipzig and TGS for more to be annonced

Hardcore, i agree it`s a reducing word. I just like to think i`ll try to buy different kind of games, even though some may be in the same genre. I bought PS3 because of MGS4, but also because i know there will be many great titles to come. PC is too expensive and too time consuming for me and Wii is too expensive if i look at what i get for my money and i still havn`t found a must have title for it.

You seem to praise PC, while at the same thing complain about the price of consoles ? You do realize the sales will increase as more people buys HD-TV`s and the price of the consoles goes down ? You also complain about the controls, which is fair, because nothing beats M&K, but yet you say you still play a lot of them. And a lot of FPS are being made and bought, so i guess it`s still playable huh ?

I find the whole it`s just another shooter too genre focused. I wouldn`t say CO4, Bioshock or Oblivion feels the same, just because they`re just another FPS.

The Wii is selling great, but i also know that many dosn`t play it a lot or have that many games for it. I consider myself a gamer, and i want new games, what new games are coming out for the Wii this year that i must have ?

Seriously, it`s only 1,5 years into PS3`s life and the really good games dosn`t show up until later in the cycle usually. And yet, LBP will be out this year...

That PS3 is harder to code for is already well know, but i`m glad some PC developers (ID software hasn`t made many, if any, console games before this gen) actually makes games themselves instead of handing them over, like Valve do. That way, their next game will be better too.

The best i have on PS3 so far (have COD4 and GTA4 also). MGS4 let me down with it`s story though, i feel both 1 and 3 was way more engaging than MGS4. The ending of it was esspecially bad, so i`m glad a new one is on it`s way.

I would advice people who enjoyed MGS4 to try 1 and 3 as well. The sad thing is that they might not enjoy it as much as they would`ve because of the camera and shooting system, which was amazing in MGS4. But hang on, the games is still great ;) View

So, having more powerful hardware to enable better physics, AI, game design etc isn`t making games better ? Would the Wii be worse if it had better hardware ?

If anything, both the PS3 and 360 can do more with games because of better hardware, giving developers the option to make different games for it, because they have more choices to make. As a gamer, i have to say that`s more interesting than having the same games as i had last gen, in addition to motion controls, which (in my opinion) dosn`t work so well for all games either.

Wii may be cheap, but it dosn`t have that much value for me. What you actually get for your money isn`t worth the price, which is more justified with a PS3 or 360. Still, glad you enjoy your Wii (no penis joke intended hehe). Just because i won`t buy one, dosn`t mean someone else can`t buy and enjoy it ;) I`m sure a Wii HD is on it`s way too.

All in all, the PS3 has great value for what you`re paying for with Blu-Ray etc, but it`s still too much yet. Maybe a LBP bundle with the PS3 could change some minds though ;) View

Very excited to see how this turns out. I`m a bit unsure if i can afford this and Bioshock this year, with all the great games coming out though. View

GTA4 just got boring after a while. They should`ve had a much better checkpoint system, so that you hadn`t have to drive through the entire city again if you failed a mission. The missions was too much alike. It`s not fun to fail a mission because your AI "buddy" dosn`t use cover and get`s shot.

MGS4 fails with it`s story, which wasn`t as good as in 1 and 3. I was glad to hear it will be an extended ending, because the original one was very bad. The boss battles are uninspiring.

I think people always seem to think that surprised anoncements will turn out to be a dream come true, but it usually end up disappointing. Don`t get me wrong a FF13 demo is cool, but hardly surprising. View

The game looks fun and i would like to see it on PS3. As much as i hate EA, they have been better at making PS3 games, even ports, so hope they can do a better job than with the Orange Box. I didn`t buy it, just because of their sloppy job. Hope they`ll do a better job this time around.

The best would`ve been for Valve to actually try making a PS3 game themselves, getting some experience with the PS3 hardware, but that`s too much to hope for i guess. Kind of like fanboys like Mart to grow up and realize things change, but some people sadly dosn`t ;) View

One of the funniest and most embarrassing moments of any E3 for me. The only thing close has to be the so called comedian i can`t remember the name of, but did a horrible job for Activision if i`m not mistaken. Ohh, and Riiiiidge Raaaaaaceeeeer of course ;) View
