Since i can read danish...
It seems the game is so great, the reviewer`s kind of lost for words. He then goes on to describe it as genre defining as Mario, Half Life 2, GTA4 (yeah right),and Braid.

Rag Doll Kung Fu in an updated version is on it`s way to PS3 by swedish developers Trasier Studios. He would like to list all the great stuff about the, but would rather have you find out on yourself. Apparently there`s a lot to discover. A true 10 in is opinion.

Well, i`ve seen two reviews so far, and both are 10`s. GOTY 2008 dosn`t seem so unlikely. Maybe it`s even GOTY 2009 ;) View

I don`t know what to do, except laugh. I think there should be no doubt Sony makes the most "unike" games after this ;)

Not my taste, but hope they show of some RPG`s (Demon`s Soul didn`t look good) or Team ICO projects soon and the rumor about team ICO not showing anything off is wrong.

Too familiar for my liking.
I wish Tekken and other fighting games would try to do something different soon. The genre is so stale, with exception of better graphics. I think MK is starting to do it right, by making you able to punch people in the air and clothes damage, but i would`ve liked to see more damage to the environment, more interaction with the spectators and better animations and hit detection for starters. View

glad to see some gameplay
A little less glad with all the pauses they had in the presentation ;) Some editing would benifit the video greatly, esspecially because of the fast paced gameplay.

NB seems kind of fun i think. Combat was fluid and smooth, and i think the AI was set down for the show (at least i hope so). Really liked the after death animations, where the bodies explode like in Buffy. The interactive cut-scenes had a lot in them, even though i don`t understood why they had to zoom-in on his eyes all the time hehe ;) View

I think you gave me the wrong links here, because both are the same and show the best games for consoles going back to the PS1. The list also shows more exclusive games, despite multiplatform games having two version of the same game.

Either way, i don`t use gamerankings to show what kinds of games is the best on platforms, because some have more reviews than others, which is clearly unfair. If you asked PS3 owners what their top 10 games would be, do you think a lot would say GTA4 or Orange Box ?

Compared to the vast number of multiplatform games being out, i think exclusive games is clearly the best. The most anticipated games is normally also exclusive ones. For PS3 this year : MGS4, LBP, R2, M2. For 360 : Gears 2, Fable 2, VP2. Multiplatform : Fallout 3, Mirror`s Edge, POP, Far Cry 2.

As for FF13 case specifically, i`m sure some dosn`t like that SE is doing a lot of 360 games and got FF13 also. I won`t matter a thing for me as long as the game`s good (or that we might see some actual gameplay soon hehe). But, it will take longer for the game to come out now because multiplatform development enquires more developers and they have to make it for both systems (which is why exclusive games also look better). View

Because they are other games out there (both RPG`s and other genres) and because you can`t keep on playing the same game forever.

Why shouldn`t people complain ? If you get a bad port because developers rushed the game out just to cash in, you should complain or not buy their game, so that developers do something about it.

If EA makes PS3 lead platform it`s better for all. Since porting from 360 -> PS3 dosn`t work so well, while PS3 -> 360 makes sure both sides can enjoy the same game. If a developer like EA actually listens to criticism and makes better games because of it, why shouldn`t they get credit ?

And yes PS3 development is harder and takes more time, but i think MGS4, Uncharted, Ratchet, R2, K2 etc is showing that if pays off. Multiplatform games have also gotten better with the games you mention above, because they start on PS3 now. View

If you look at the best games, they`re usually exclusive ones (in 360`s case they can be on PC at the same time too, because of the similarities between them).

Multiplatform games can be great across all platforms like COD4, but that`s more an exception of the rule. Look at EA to see what i mean. View

Agree completely.

Not sure if i`m gonna pick up Bioshock now though. Longer load times, worse graphics and at a full price, it dosn`t sound like a good port. Which is why i skiped on the Orange Box too. With R2, Mirrors Edge and Far Cry 2 out this year also, the competition for my FPS-money is hard.

I thought the demo seemed alright though, so i`ll see. Hope they make a patch for it. View

Same here. I think it`s the facial animations and the lip sync mostly, but also the too cliched characters. The gameplay seems killer though. View

Yeah, there`s just something odd about the way their face and speech behaved. I havn`t played R1, but i just think the characters in this video seemed too cliched. In it being an action game, i guess that won`t matter for some, but i think it`s just too stereotypical for my liking.

The rest of the game seems ace though, which is what matters. I didn`t find COD4`s story that interesting either (even though the story jumping was kind of original), so i don`t think it will matter that much. View

I have to agree with Lord Anubis, there`s something wrong with the lip sync. In fact i think the whole facial animation dosn`t look good enough. Maybe i`m spoiled by MGA4, but i don`t think this cutscene was that well made, and i`m not sure if the story will be that good.

Other than that, R2 looks great gameplay wise and that`s what really counts. The best FPS this year, by the look of it. View

Not sure if 150 people counts as little and i wouldn`t have used GTA4 as an example of a great game. It`s one of the most overhyped games i`ve tried. If you had said Media Molecyle with LBP however...

Big development teams dosn`t mean it`s going to be bad either, i think it`s more a question of what kind of games you want to make.

I do agree with you that they shouldn`t show of their games or give a release date before they`re ready though. I can`t wait for more Alan Wake, the first trailer had an interesting concept. View

I`m basing this on reviews, but i havn`t played the game for myself, so maybe you`re right ;)

I don`t have the time to try all games for myself, but maybe i`ll have to give Lair a try some time, with the analog support out and so on. View
