If they released a Blu-Ray collection of Final Fantasy games, they'd absolutely kill. Diehard fans would go nuts for retouched graphics and trophy support.

Seems like an obvious decision now that the GoW Collection is out of the gates. View

I don't think that'll become an issue. The PS3 has a developing audience. No reason for devs to give up and walk away. If they're giving up on the console because of the cost and effort required to make games then, well, who wants them anyways?

Nothing's worse than a lazy dev in the gaming industry, yeah? View

I've heard the same elsewhere...
I talked to a dev for Ghostbusters in an interview I did for Kombo.com who said, basically, the same thing. His quote:

"...if we could get it running great on the PS3 then everything else was easy."

Not really a bad thing at all. The PS3 just has tougher coding work, simple as that. Programmers will learn how to work with it, and, that's that.

Hell, isn't it sort of a good thing for Sony fans that the PS3 becomes the standard for coding? I mean, the "if we do it on the PS3 anything will work" attitude just means more action for the PS3.

Completely forgot about that movie. Amazing use of the Power Glove.

I will say, I really hated the games that you could play with that thing. To each his own, obviously. The Power Glove was the father of the Wii. You think about THAT.

Oh, and I remember Captain N too. Way better than The Wizard.

Yes, he makes some valid points. But he does so with horrid writing and outlandish accusations.

Read gaming news, take it with a grain of salt, and then move on... Remember that it takes a lot of guts to try and go professional in the gaming press industry.

I'd argue that all of Kotaku, IGN, Gamespot and the like were started by a passionate few. But if you think they've sold out and are too far-gone to be considered legitimate, then maybe you should move on. Find a blog that's opinionated and hot-headed. If you hate the hidden-agenda of places like IGN, head to DSFanboy.com. No hidden agenda there.

My point is, in an industry so inundated with press outlets, readers have to take it upon themselves to select their sources. Find places that you're in line with and enjoy. I don't agree with what Kotaku has to say, so I don't go there. I like Joystiq, Kombo and GameTrailers... It's all preference. I'm not wrong for liking these sites.

Hell, isn't this just about video games? I just want to look at sweet trailers, read funny articles and shoot stuff. View
