I bought Singstar thinking I could learn some English songs... but the library sux b@lls...
The songs they put on for download are totally catered to women and gay men...

Not that I'm against women or gays... but come on... put on some songs that are worth while learning.

The song list is the biggest factor in any music game imo, hope this one will have a good and HUGE song list. View

I didn't know this is done by Japan...
If they support download from a library just like a normal Japanese Karaoke Machine, I will totally import a Japanese 360 just for this game. View

@2
If you are trying to say who's first....
Dreamcast had a Karaoke add-on with downloadable songs and a library of more songs than any of the current music games.
Heck the original Famicom (Red & White Nintendo) had Karaoke games, the friggin mic even came with every Famicom built into their controllers...

They need to bring that mic on controller thing back... imagine playing a stealth game and you get detected because the mic picked up actual noise. Or you actually having to yell "Sunlight!" in MGS4 with the Solar Gun. View

I think that box art would look a lot better if it has "Online Versus" printed on the front. View

WTF is this article... Bad jokes at the expense of Wii, that's it...
How the hell did this get passed? View

Capcom is just trying to milk whatever they can. They already got a PC version with graphics close to what the Wii can handle.
It's not like MH4 will never come out because it will, since there's a big demand like from you and me and everybody in Japan for a HD Monster Hunter.

When it was announced for PS3 last year I was imagining all my MH armor that I've collected being displayed in my HOME trophy room, and maybe the possibility of wearing it around in HOME... I wish my dream will come true someday. View

Capcom said it themselves Monster Hunter would be too expensive to do on PS3... Makes sense cuz right now they only have to port the PC version/graphics to Wii. People would be pissed if they did that for the PS3 version.

There's too big of a fan base in Japan for the PS3 version to suck because everybody would expect awesome graphics, and all that would need to be built from ground up.

If there's a demand they'll probably make it for whatever system later. They are probably working on MH4 with hi-def graphics already, but why announce it now and kill MH3 sales, right? View

Guitar Hero probably settled the patent issue with Konami long time ago, but not for Rock Band... and that game just came out end of last year. It would take time for Konami Japan to even know this game exists, report it to corporate, prepare the case and everything.

Maybe Konami wouldn't have even sued if they weren't trying to bring out Rock Band in Japan, who knows. View

I was waiting for a price drop on Superstardust HD to get it...
But I bought it at $10 to try out the trophies... I'm one of the people that got suckered in...

It would be ideal if the game is $4.99 then with the add on bringing it back up to $10 then this game would be awsome.

Anyway the add on should've been part of the original package... good game nevertheless. View

I think Red Octane started out by making peripherals for Konami, first the guitars and then dance pads for Konami's games, then they teamed with Harmonics to do a Guitar Freaks copy with English songs, then bought out by Activision. Harmonics probably are the ones who had the idea to do a Guitar Freaks copy that's why they went to Red octane. Then since Guitar Hero was taken they thought they would just copy Drummania, heck they probably thought since Drummania and Guitar Freaks already linked, they might as well copy Karaoke Revolution in there and throw that in.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's basically how things went down.

I love Rockband but Konami wasn't just sitting on those patents, they've been coming out with Guitar Freaks and Drummania year after year way before Guitar Hero and Rockband, just not outside of Japan.

Guitar Hero World Tour Drums set up is just like Drummania's setup by the way, but probably because they paid Konami all these time for Guitar Hero too so they can get away with the drums now. View

It's funny they didn't mention Drummania and Guitar Freaks...
instead they mention DDR... at least they mentioned Karaoke Revolution, but what the hell...

I think Konami should get some money for this, but again they should've market Drummania and Guitar Freaks to outside of Japan. If they would've added Karaoke revolution to the Drummania and Guitar Freaks link then they would have more ground I guess...

Rock Revolution is not even done by Konami Japan so it's probably gonna suck. Hope Harmonics pay up and release the Japanese Rockband. And Rockband 2 songs should've been DLC's too... View

Japanese Siren Demo has different intro music...
Intro meaning the music it plays before selecting it from the xmb.
US version plays music, Japanese version has random funny moans =)

I just played through it again twice, still can't find the missing archive item...

Helpful Control Hints:
-You can turn flashlight on/off by pushing up on thumb pad.

-Push R2 to view in first person, in the second mission you can push R3 to play in first person view entirely.

-When viewing archive, R2 will zoom up, hold R2 and use L analog stick to pan the screen.

Possible SPOILER...

They should just make a game filled with Jade Raymond bikini photo shoots.

Heck they don't even need to add any game element to it, just 2 hours of HD video of Jade running around (in a bikini of course), I'd pay $60 for it.

And that's probably the only way Ubisoft is ever gonna get my money again. ^_- View

@1.1 BulletToothtony & Home Beta Testers
If you are in the Home Beta can you make suggestions?
I wish they will implement one 3D trophy for all future games. Make it hard to get but make it good.
I think completing all normal trophy requirements for the PSN card to trade for that 3D trophy at Home is a good idea.

I got Super Stardust HD to see what it was like, the 2d trophies are kinda boring and ugly and I don't need a whole bunch of crappy little trophies if they introduce it in Home. I think one per game would be the ideal. And they don't have to come in trophy form, maybe come as a Poster you can put on walls, T-shirt, Watch, Jacket and things of the like that you can ware on your avatar.

I've been playing the Japanese Free PSN game Mainichi Issho (launched since day one for free), they give you all these game posters and toys you can display in your room and garden, all by just playing online mini games and watching daily news to earn virtual points. If you watch a daily news that's based on a game sometimes they'll do promotional stuff and give you posters and toys without you having to spend virtual points for them.

Home 3d trophies needs to be like Mainichi Issho... overall Mainichi Issho just seems like a better game (better entertainment) than Home and that game's been there for free since day one of Japanese launch. Home needs to be at least at Mainichi Issho's level before launch or else it really just feels like any other old social MMO. I think that's the reason Kaz Hirai keep on pushing Home back?

Anyway sorry for the rant... Here's a vid of Mainichi Issho and I'll attach some example pics of people's rooms (all decorated without having to spend real money). View

Just so you know...
Famitsu Online doesn't give sales numbers in their rankings by the way, at least not this one. I think VGCharts added their own and I dunno where they get those numbers.

What I'd like to ask people is since VGCharts is in the business for counting numbers, are they completely unreliable or some what credible that you can at least look at their numbers as some sort of a reference? View

The words from the creator was "new translation" in Japanese, it just got translated into "remake" before the title was released.
It's not a remake, rather the reason for them to say that is part one and part two exist in different worlds, and New-Translation exists in the world and village of part one.
On all the Japanese sites previewing this game clearly says the game is not a remake and is not a sequel.
I played the first one so I can kinda guess what's going on here, but the whole point of the game is to gather pieces of information and put them together yourself anyway, there could be many interpretations for the first and second game. View
