Memory sticks not cutting it anymore? 8gigs memory cards are cheap and available, movies on UMD were less than 1.3 gig. Getting multiple 4 gigs would be cheap too...
Monster Hunter 2nd G has HD installs and running off memory sticks are fast enough that there was no need for loading.
Knowing how Kotaku likes to mix and match quotes, this is probably just some BS to bring confusion cuz it's a stupid idea. View

Everybody suspected GoW3 on PS3.... Nobody suspected the SquareEnix move... If Sony would've shown a Team Ico game, maybe that would've tied it.

I never liked GoW as a game really, only the graphics were impressive at the time. The adult theme violence gets old fast and with a kiddy grade button mash controls it makes it even worse.
I think I read somewhere they are revamping the controls, and I really hope they make it a lot better and a harder game like DMC or Ninja Gaiden. View

IMO "Winner" means to make more people wanting to buy your system instead of the competitor's, that's what E3 is about right?

The FF announcement alone gave reason to lot of people not needing to buy a PS3 and others a reason to reconsider getting a 360 instead.

Even the Netflix deal, Microsoft is good at making deals look cheaper and sweeter, regardless if it actually ends up being cheap or not, the general public don't think that much and does get the impression that it is just a better deal to get a 360 instead.

So it's clear who the winner at the show is IMO, if people want Sony to do well, better tell Sony to step up and announce something big, or else I just see the momentum shifting back to 360. (Team Ico? Something more for Sony at the Square Enix Party? Something we haven't heard before) View

I downloaded the preview off PSN
The graphics is just way too sub-par compared to the teaser that they showed before... They should've never shown the teaser because the graphics now is just oo much of a let down. I hope the graphics doesn't stay the same way and will improve a lot more. View

They should offer both
The price is ridiculous compared to just having to pay for Netflix.
Maybe for the price of "buy", give another option of paying more and being able to download while they send you the blu-ray for keep?
Or maybe offer the netflix type of deal for all you can download off the rentals. View

Simultaneous Release For PS3 and 360

Well they are making it on PC and it's just now getting to run on PS3. Since they are using Crystal Tools once the PS3 version is done it shouldn't take long to port to 360. PS3 version might be held back a little to wait for 360, but probably not that long.

I'm getting report for Dups but the other Q&A weren't complete and no confirmation that PS3 and 360 will get a same release date. Famitsu article shows the Square Executive confirming it.

If I missed it in the other reports, please let me know.

PS3 and 360 version will release on the same date for US, and same date for Europe. Just different dates for US and Europe. View

If the 360 version does very well, Square will probably port Versus too.
Maybe that announcement will be another show stealer at the next E3.

Anyway at least this news today will probably make Sony step up their game and us gamers will get better games as a result.

At this point I don't see either system dying so as long as competition is there, there will be better and better games coming out (at least I hope so). View

I kinda wanted too see the question "did Microsoft pay you guys for this decision". Maybe Microsoft didn't even have to pay and Square really believes that the install base would cause FFXIII to not sell as well as an exclusive.
At least it would give a clearer view of what Japanese developers think of the western market. View

There's only a few songs I want to play from the list, same as there's only a few songs I want to play from their download store...
I know they are doing this to milk money but f#ck they need to just release the disk version songs as DLC, I'm not gonna pay $60 for a few songs that I wanna play.
I only play 1 or 2 on disk songs from part one... so not gonna fall for that again.
But again they got me w/ the Japanese rockband... that needs to come out faster. View

The game was free people. You just expect them to make a game and cost nothing?
$10 is cheap for this pack, Japan pays a little bit more, and seems like you get more options in the pack then what was mentioned before in the Famitsu magazine. View

Mainichi Issho had a preview yesterday, with their new update will come a mini game that is like "Beats" for PSP, where you can choose any MP3 and play a game like Para Parappa. It has versus in it too, dunno if it supports online yet but it probably will eventually.

It really sux that you can't purchase mini games for Mainichi Issho outside of Japan... Even if HOME will be an exact copy of Mainichi Issho I would be happy already... HOME better have this mini game included somewhere down the line...

But anyway, the mini game is probably gonna be released because of the music store. View
