Aaaaand here we go again...
Alundra was not developed by Sony, but by Matrix Software. Doesn't ring a bell? Well, they also made the FFIII and FFIV remakes for the DS. So unless Sony has a habit of buying every IP they publish, I'd say it's up to Matrix to bring Alundra to life again. Sony only published it and even that only in Japan. As always, my source:

Wild Arms! Never played it myself, but I was always interested in it. I'm sad to say it wasn't developed by Sony, but by Media.Vision. They also made games for XBox and the DS, so I wouldn't say they are Sony exclusive. Published by them, yes, but some games of the series were also published by other companies, such as Agetec in the US. Since we all love it so much...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... Although I wanted to buy it, I still don't own Rogue Galaxy. Still, I have an eye on it, though, especially since it was developed by Level-5, which I take as some sort of quality seal. Most people think Level-5 and Sony go hand in hand, but I have to burst that bubble. They make DS games, Dragon Quest IX for example. The also make the Professor Layton series. Plus, as most people don't know, they made a MMO for MSFT back in the day when the XBox (the original one) was around, which was canceled in '04. So, for the last time tonight...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... Again, as I wrote in the paragraph about Alundra: I don't know if Sony owns the rights of these games. All I know (from a 20 minute research) is that they published them, somewhere, sometime. Unless they bought every single new - and unproven at that - IP, it is not entirely up to them to just churn out a new game in the series.
Do I want to see some of these games again? Sure. I wouldn't mind a new Cool Boarders or a sequel to Rogue Galaxy, or even a new Wild Arms. Do I want Sony to "raise them from the dead"? Nope. I want the developers to come up with new ideas for these, because it's their game. Their wit, their humor, their skill. They know where they want their games to go, which makes them unique.
If anybody can clarify the legal stuff about the rights of the games I mentioned ,or any other of that list for that matter, please do so - I want to know if I can count on a new game somwhere down the road.
