First of all...
... I want to thank everybody that approved this and commented. It actually means something to me.
That aside, I live in Germany. We, sadly, still have racism over here. A few months ago a group of skinheads chased an Indian family and killed them. The thing is, this not only happened in a little village where nobody expected such things, it also happened in public, in a restaurant - nobody helped the victims. So, I am sorry for that I can't talk about the situation in America since I don't know that much about it, but I see similar things in the newspaper.
I do see why people want to call RE5 racist. The thing is, I don't see it that way. If you have seen the SouthPark episode in which Chef wants the flag to be changed: I feel like those kids who were against it. I do not care about skin, religion and all that. All I see is people.
Like somebody already said, I can't go through an African-based game and look for white zombies. I don't even want to. For so many years, people have thought for their equality. Equality, in which everybody is the same. If I am allowed to shoot white people in a game, I should also be able to kill black people in a game. That's what equality is.
Will racists play the game and enjoy killing black people? Disgustingly, yes. But those are racists - we are gamers, of which I hope to be intelligent enough to not be racists.
IMO, there should be a rule 34-equivalent for this, like "If it exists, I can shoot/kill it in a game." Equality is not only having the same chances, it's also being treated the same way. I have killed more white people in games than I can even count and if the new villain in a game is black, yellow, red or rainbow colored, so be it.
