Wow! I havn't visited the site in sometime and I come in and Megaman 10 announced which I thought was great, now this? Concept art looks really well done. Hopefully HVS have learned that art design is a big deal in games and should push for that in the sequel.

Sorry, I liked The Conduit, but the game was bland looking. Their Wii tech is spot on, they just need to up the design of things. View

I find it funny how MMV makes extremely niche titles that usually are Japanese focused, that fail over in Japan. Then they expect good numbers in other parts of the world? Hell huge retailers don't even stock MMV titles such as Muramasa and LKS. Have you seen a Muramasa at Target?
Marketing could also be better imo.

I find it funny how publishers have no faith in their games so they only release a limited stock at select retailers. Muramasa and Dead Space Extraction are great examples of games that are good, but have a hard time finding. F1 2009 is a Gamestop exclusive, how will that help Codemasters sell copies when you are eliminating retailers that sell just as many games as Gamestop such as Target and Walmart?

Nintendo's Reggie Fils Aime once said that NOA make the most money retailer wise off of Walmart than any other retailer. If your game is only in stock at Gamestop, how is that helping sell copies? Publishers need to wake up. View

What a great game. So many secrets in this game too. So much fun. View

Agreed, waggle was never a great idea. It was used well in games like NMH and Madworld, but just shaking the remote is not immersive imo.

Glad to see more games lately using it more wisely. View

What has paid media come to when you let a person who dislikes fps controls on Wii review a fps on Wii.

That is like an employee of PETA testing hunting rifles. Of course their bias will get in the way of providing a great review for the product. View

Wow they seriously couldn't give it a 9...they had to give it a 8.9? Good thing I don't trust paid media anymore. Ign, 1up, Gamespot, and the like can all suck it. User reviews are more important to me, not someone who got paid to write one. View

Although this would be great for Wii owners and fans of the series, a RE4 style game made from the ground up on Wii would be even better. View

Bozon, you either did not play the game, or didn't get the final version. Not only did i not have any of the issues you talked about, I could not imagine what you talked about not being talked about by people in forums who have had their copies for a week or more. Which were not present.

Bozon did you get paid off to review this like crap? Are you too into the HD CoD games to see your reviewing a Wii game? This game is better than The Conduit, but what... did you want this game to be scored below The Conduit because your name was in the credits?

There is a reason why IGN is mocked in almost every forum. View

I find it funny how EA blames Nintendo for their games not selling on Wii. They want Nintendo to help them "partner" with EA, why should they? You treat Wii games like they are sub-par. Yes we did get a great couple of sports titles in the form of EA Sports Active, Tiger, and Grand Slam Tennis, but what about the other titles? I tell you ... sub-par.

Ea once said "we will rival Nintendo in quality on their own console"..........really? You haven't done anything near that or your titles such as Dead Space would have sold. Doesn't help that EA had so much faith in Dead Space that they understocked it, and major retailers such as Walmart or Target are either in extremely low quantity, or not even on the shelf.

Come on EA, listen to the customer instead of guessing what trend is hot or what might sell. When you listen to the customer, you always win.

Now they fire and "layoff" employees at EA. EA I'll give you a little business tip. Since decisions come from the top, why are the pawns getting fired and not you? Riccitiello, you should fire yourself and put an actual gamer in your spot to make decisions. Then maybe your company could go somewhere on Wii.

You have people who don't care about gaming running these companies and it is taking its toll on one of my hobbies. Why should people who have no interest in video games outside of the money be in control of one of my hobbies?

Regardless, EA is failing on Wii because they are not giving customers what they want. We wanted a true football sim and instead got a wannabe NFL Blitz. We wanted a true Need for Speed and we got a sub-par Burnout, we wanted a third person Dead Space and got a House of the Dead Space. After all these examples, EA wonders why Wii owners are not stupid enough to buy into their half assed titles. View

There is no framerate issues in multiplayer and the controls are just as customizable as The Conduit. Framerate could drop in single player, but personally I didn't see any.

Bozon's getting some flak for what he said from people in forums who have already played the game. View

I wouldn't go that far. The biggest problem with the game graphics wise is that the game was made with hd in mind. Meaning textures have to come down due to how complex the maps are. I mean some stages you can tell put massive strain on the hardware. Makes me wish Treyarch could do a ground up Wii CoD... View

Man, the multiplayer is so good in this title. Definite buy for who ever wants the best multiplayer fps on Wii. Treyarch did a good job, to bad about the lousy marketing by Activision though. View

@ above

Nintendo doesn't have a freebie marketing (razor blade) business strategy where you lose money on consoles and make it up on software. Nintendo makes profit from the get go. Nintendo still would not have "went under" even if the Wii hadn't struck the chord it has with the non-customer. View

Out of pure curiosity, does anyone have a list of closed video game studios of this generation? It would be interesting to see. View
47 days 4 hours ago
It astonishes me how many studios have had to close this generation due to high costs of production. You have to feel for developers who can't get a job right now because of so many cut-backs. I think video games went HD alittle prematurely, then again who could have predicted such a bad economy. View
