I've been gaming since my Mom (regrettably) bought the Atari for me In 1979 and eventually the 2600. Man I miss Vanguard and Zaxxon, Ahh...what a simpler finer time in life, but I digress. I guess you could say that I've been through the console wars since Day 1 (however, there wasn't much competition in the late 80's - early 90's while Nintendo was kicking EVERYBODY's ass to the sky) and I will continue to game until the day that I die. After Sega / Nintendo wars (and all the freaking money i spent on both systems)I fell in love with the PS 1 in college in the mid 90's. Today, I'll play anything before me regardless of the system; however I have continued to remain loyal to the Sony systems over the past few years. I've never seen the degree of Fanboyism in the "console war" arena as much as there is today -- it is Out of Control. There is no secret about it - I like Sony, but Hate people who rag ANY system they don't have just for the Hell of it. I don't get it. Hell, I'll jump on a lil' Halo I or II, Ninja Gaiden, Forza or Super Smash Bros. anyday - and gladly. Anyway, I try to bring positive news about the PS3 to the site and see what's going on (generally) in the Wonderful world of gaming. This is one of the best sites I've been to for a gamer's forum (unlike geek.com)and I look forward to contributing and learning here for a while.
