MS = Crybabies?
520 days ago | by: Tony Scarboni
It seems like ever since E3 went down MS has been on a trash talking spree. Frankly, I think they're just embarassing themselves. Whatever happened to letting the products speak for themselves?

I'm not saying that all companies don't do their trash talking, but MS takes it to a new level. The use it as a strategy. Fact of the matter is, it just makes them look desperate. If they're product is so superior, then why do they seem so worried about their competitors?

It's pretty obvious what's happening here. Sony has finally taken the gloves off, and now that they are fully supporting the PS3, they have a lot more momentum. You can afford to do that though when you have 25 in house devs. (vs. MS's 7). In house devs. bring the true exclusives, and these exclusives are what set one console apart from the other.

Sony hasn't even scratched the surface at E3, there has been story after story about the grounbreaking announcements yet to come at the Lepzig conference in Europe and the Tokyo Game Show.

All this and Sony already has '09 lined up as their year. In '09, Sony will be the company to beat. If they just rest on the strength of the titles they have already announced than MS is already going to be in for a rough ride.

But is looks like in the mean time MS is going to continue its flurry of badmouthing. And as always, the true gamers such as ourselves won't be fooled that this is anything more than MS's death rattle.
