Xbox live 1080p HD downloads are 4-8GBs take about an hour and a half to download (comcast highspeed). Blu-ray will win for now, but digital distribution is the future. Also a double sided, double layer DVD can hold more then 17GB's of data, so I don't think storage is an issue this gen as far as games go.

Complete BS

This kind of blame game is complete BS. I just recently wrote an essay for my college english class about Do Video Games Cause Violence? and after doing the research for my paper, I have found the answer is no.

Scientist have found no proof linking the two, and even point out that since the rise in popularity of video games, that violence in young people has declined.

Instead they show that the more likey cause is mental instability, unstable home and social rejection.

When I play a "violent shooter" I get angry not because I want to kill people in real life, but because I am losing. Competition is the reason for my anger, just like in sports and anywhere else.

I just dont see why people cant accept responsibilities. Instead of parets participating more in there socially outcast childs life, and being involved.Its my kid is screwed up because video games, movies, music blah blah blah. They dont want to accept that they werent the best parent. What the individual did was horrible. He should own up and accept what HE has done. Not games.

But I wonder if anybody has thought about the possibility that Sony deliberately pushed all the good games back for the PS3 so that it would increase the odds of Blu-ray winning? I'm not saying thats what I believe, just throwing the idea out there. I wondered since I have been buying all sorts of blu-ray movies to hold me over till MGS4. Agree/Disagree? Its a BETA!!! I wasnt expecting it to work perfectly, thats why its a BETA!! Its free, so what do I care if it is a couple of hours late.
Crackdown was a pretty decent game. In MY OPINION, if somebody says the game is stupid and is a GTA rip-off then they obviously have not played it. Thats like calling and hating every FPS shooter because it borrowed elements form the first ever FPS. Lame.
Also last I checked when I was playing the Beta it said 173,987 people were online playing, (And yes you can check that when you play, it tells you) it seems like not very many people are agitated with this whole thing, and this is just the beta.
As far as the graphics go, I dont care. I care about the gameplay. Doom had crap graphics but its still fun as hell to play to this day. View

I am def getting this game. I think Lair is going to be sweet. I loved the RS series so this is going to really good.
I am just sick of seeing lots of reviews on the same games, even though they are different reviews. Dont take it so personal deep. Whats wrong with stating MY OPINION. Isnt that what everybody here does?

Has anybody else noticed what N4G has turned into?
I remember I used to come here and get reviews about games and updates about games. But now, its like everybody is finding "PS3 pwns 360"or "360 rapes PS3" stories!I feel like when I come on here someones trying to sell me something, instead of just giving me INTERESTING news. All of this flamebait, from these fanboy contributors.

Can't we just get back to the News? Its pretty sad that all I have to do is look at who contributed the article and know there a fanboy.

I own both systems and think there both equally sweet. They both have games that I am interested in, hence why I have both.So lessen is just leave everybody alone and lets just ejoy our tastes and preferences.

They shouldn't let fanboys become Contributors. Later.

Sony does not own any part of Samsung and vice-versa. The whole "Urban Legend" behind all of that was Sony gambled on plasma and lost. So to make up for that they made some sorta financial deal with Samsung (you scratch my back I will scratch yours). In turn, Samsung helped Sony get there LCD technology current. Samsung always had the best LCD's until the Sony Bravia's started coming out. Samsung=SoKorean, Sony=Japanese Sorry to go of topic, just wanted to correct #12. View

I dont understand how they can say that Xbox 360 and Wii need more ORIGINAL IP's when all I see for the PS3 is Sequel aftr Sequel. Dont get me wrong, the PS3 has some amazing games coming out, but this writer needs to be a little more objective when he is going to bring up points on ORIGINAL IP's. Plus, with a FEW exceptions, the Sequel curse (they usually suck, See Movies) also applies to video games. Dont get me wrong I love some of these Franchises, but come on, they need to retire them and start new IP's. View

I wish that you wouldnt spout off things that you know nothing about. To say that PS3 is going to beat 360 because there are lots of 360's on the shelves is just plain moronic. If you used your brain for something other then blind fanboyism you would realize that the reason there are lots of 360's on the shelves is because it has been out for more then a year and has been able to stay ahead of the demand, and its still selling more hardware then the PS3. Now the PS3 is also in stock and its only been out since Nov. Use your brain. As for the comment about not being able to watch HD until I buy the the HD Add-on player, well that comment just shows that you have never even played a 360. If you had you would have noticed that I can download HD movies right to my 360. Now I have a PS3 and love it. In my OPINION there arent any good games out yet for it, but I am patient. God of War didnt come out till forever. The 360 is an amazing machine it really has alot to offer. I just wish that PS3 ONLY fans would just try it. I mean why would you want to limit yourself to one console when there are great games on all 3. I am a gamer not a consoler. I like games. Its crazy to think that people have never played God of War or Halo because of tere fanboyism.
