My Idea For A New Castlevania Game

I've been thinking: There's no Castlevania for PS3, 360, OR Wii! So I think I've got a pretty good idea for the next Castlevania game
It's the year 2000. 6 months have passed since Dracula was sealed away in 1999. But the castle wasn't sealed away...
One person stumbles upon the cursed castle (I don't have a name yet). He has no idea where he is. Upon entering, he discovers a mysterious whip. It's the VampireKiller, but he doesn't know it yet and the power of the VampireKiller was sealed away in 1999. Since he's trapped, he must explore the castle and, unknowingly, revive the power of the VampireKiller. He will also find out he's part vampire (no relation to Alucard or Dracula) which will lead to an all new gameplay element (see below) But there's a catch, when the whip has returned to it's old self, Dracula will return. So the guy must Defeat Dracula once again.
Since he isn't a Belmont he can equip other weapons and Armor. He would start out with a sword and a Whip. It would be more like Symphony of the Night than anything
It would be a 3D side-scroller (Think Dracula X Chronicles for PSP). And it would be available on PS3, 360, and Wii (Also, each version would have something unique about it. Achievments, motion controls, etc.)
I also have an all new element of gameplay added to the mix. The blood system. Since the guy's half-vampire, he can drink enemie's blood. When he drinks a certain amount of a specific enemy's blood, (ex. Skeleton) then he will learn a skill from that enemy. It's like the soul system in Aria/Dawn of Sorrow, but it's taken to the next level because when he gets enough of specific enemy/enemies' blood (ex. Skeleton and Peeping Eye blood) then he can forge weapons out of that blood to make extraordinarily strong Blood Weapons. But there's another catch to the added ATK power. Every time he uses the weapon, a predetermined portion of his life will go down (ex. 8, 16.). This adds an extra layer of strategy to this game.
So what do you think? Is my idea any good?
