I know the reasoning, and it makes sense. But, looking at the graph, you can see that the 2x BluRay (which is what the PS3 is?) it is only a smidgen better than the minimum read of the DVD disk. So, the PS3 is really only faster for a tiny, tiny, tiny amount of time, which really doesn't matter.

If the games were to be streamed off the BluRay disk, there WOULD need to be data duplication or some other method, as load times would be significantly greater. THIS is why there are installs for PS3 games, as if the read speed was capable of offering loads equal to the competition, surely it would be optional (and the games would load faster)

Now, this isn't an entirely fair analysis, as we don't know where the "mode" of disk read speed is, but rather range. However, it is the best we can do View

You can use your PS3 account on 5 systems. Repeat, 5 systems. Once it's used on 5 systems, it can't be used on more (unless you call Sony and explain why, and they'll revoke an account). So, all content from one PSN account can be downloaded to another system. BUT, you can only use a PSN account on 5 systems. Hope that helps <3 View
