"Controller is inferior to keyboard mouse."
I can't fully agree on that.Mouse is more accurate but personally,I think it makes every FPS feel the same. There was no difference in the feel of aiming from Deus ex or Doom 3,but put Halo next to KZ ,in terms of feel it's miles apart. View

PD was better
But I still prefer the control system, felt more realistic than the typical run and gun style gameplay. That came about because GE007 originally was a on rails shooter,so it's built around stop and pop, using and leaning out of cover,

And I think I think it was the first "realistic" shooter out. View

I would love a GOW collection comparison

I thought the demo was ok,I wouldn't buy it though. View

Despite your overall favourite
there's no getting away from the poly count advantage on GT5's dashboard.

I would of used the tuned version from GT in this vid though. View

I'm on a media blackout, but really looking forward (since the casting) to playing it.

I'm also just about to play fahrenheit for the first time,I know about the last third so it won't be unexpected and hopefully I won't find it that bad View

been after one for a while but the trial sealed the deal,i'll probably pick up R-factor or something before GT5 comes out though, not sure i'll be able to go back to prologue if the new physics are a big step up. View

If you guys are after a stand
If your after a stand I can recommend this.

http://www.wheelstandpro.us...

If you want a slightly cheaper version or you buy the official GT5 wheel

http://www.wheelstandpro.us...

It works great, but the fact it folds was a big selling point

I've bought stuff
normally it's when I've got a couple of pound left on my account,I wouldn't put money on specifically for home, and it's only for the odd hat,or costume.

After seeing this news topic I decided to log into home take a pick of what I last bought.

I'll use this to spam family members Ps3's,probably work out cheaper than buying cards.

Lol typical Rare
Not played a Rare game since the N64 (did flirt with kameo) but they'll never change.

expect a Wii sports style game, mabey Blast Corps and I'm sure the tower in the crystal ball will suggests a new adventure game.

But I wonder how TJ combo's gloves fit in. View

it looks good, obviously you'd lower the res and IQ (unless they are high end PC screens) but the models look good, especially in the cut scene.
The second shot is a tad ropey,I really don't like the mist effect (that would be a cracking troll) can't see any benefit from it,but I'm sure a sold framerate will help and lots of guns firing probably take your eyes off it.

In regards FF13,it's been in production for so long it's bound to look a little dated, but I can imagine it has some great cloth and hair physics though,i've not really looked at vids but they seem like they would move around quite realistically.

I do think (just from the screens) FF will have better facial animation when expressing emotions,it's got that uncharted 2 slightly over the top style, yet they tend to provide a natural result.

The first Mass effect screen they all look bloody miserable :) and probably will have slightly stiff animation,I'd like them not to be stood up stiff and rigid, the green dude could slightly lean his head to his right,It will needs that something extra, like valve did with HL2,

Again I'm basing this on your links, but you can see the different roots in both games, the console based developers in FF and the PC based developers in ME. View

I would imagine the walk controls could be mapped to the L2 View

R2 walks forward (no matter the camera position)
Left stick controls head,

it supposedly it works like a racing game, but it means they can switch the camera at any time and it won't affect how you walk. View

I think it's 20 endings, but because each scene has so many variables,or if you lose a character, you could play it multiple times to see every scene or possibility. View

I've not read yesterday's previews (don't want spoilers) but it seemed that comments were extremely favourable.

"For about the first hour or so, if it weren't interactive, and the characters weren't polygonal, Heavy Rain could pass for a serious and intense modern-day police drama. Its ability to convincingly stage such day-in-the-life activities as waking up in an empty house and starting your day, taking a trip to the mall, or talking to the grieving mother of a murdered child is so engrossing, that I actually found it kind of jarring when some game-friendly, improbable crime-solving technology made an appearance. It's a very dark, cold, sad, and serious game unafraid to dwell on personal loss, alienation, addiction, and other uncomfortable aspects of the human condition. In a format where escapism and power fantasies are in particularly high demand, Heavy Rain is, least in its early going, an M-for-Mature game in the best possible sense."

My favourite screen

"I think the overall spartan armor in general is what makes me awe at it's beauty. Facial details aren't top notch, but they're an art style, so it's not anything bad."

in my first post.

"The camp looks fine, nice looking armour, lighting, bit of shimmer on a few edges and the faces are a little off,but the mo-cap looked great, and cleverly edited."
All the problems I mention in the first post regarding the fog were me proving it is in-engine :)

Overall character detail:
1. Halo: Reach
That's were I can't agree yet, because of the magic words gameplay situation.(here we go again)

In a cutscene you could give me this

http://www.turizmsayfalari....

but if in gameplay it looked like this

http://blog-imgs-31.fc2.com...

I wouldn't care what the cutscene looked like.

Have a nice christmas and new year I is going to sleep now View

Which is why I wrote in my first post

"It's clear we can't judge the gameplay graphics from this"

because a cleverly edited setup with nothing going on is different to running AI,physics,mo cap, collisions, lighting, partic les.and (unlike the trailer) a proper gameplay environment whilst reacting to the player input.
And it's why until I see actual gameplay I'm not buying the "OMG the grafiks ar sik" stuff.

I hope they are mindblowing because (despite not being a fan) I appreciate any game that clearly has work put into it. View
