it looks good, obviously you'd lower the res and IQ (unless they are high end PC screens) but the models look good, especially in the cut scene.
The second shot is a tad ropey,I really don't like the mist effect (that would be a cracking troll) can't see any benefit from it,but I'm sure a sold framerate will help and lots of guns firing probably take your eyes off it.
In regards FF13,it's been in production for so long it's bound to look a little dated, but I can imagine it has some great cloth and hair physics though,i've not really looked at vids but they seem like they would move around quite realistically.
I do think (just from the screens) FF will have better facial animation when expressing emotions,it's got that uncharted 2 slightly over the top style, yet they tend to provide a natural result.
The first Mass effect screen they all look bloody miserable :) and probably will have slightly stiff animation,I'd like them not to be stood up stiff and rigid, the green dude could slightly lean his head to his right,It will needs that something extra, like valve did with HL2,
Again I'm basing this on your links, but you can see the different roots in both games, the console based developers in FF and the PC based developers in ME.
