Now I am owner of both consolles.
I am actually playing Bioshock on my brand new 360..A pure masterpiece!!! And I have never spotted aliasing issue or jaggies...
Let me say it seems really perfect graphically!!!

I am just in the middle of the game (I am a new Xbox360 owner and I am actually overwhelmed by thousand games... my poor old ps3 is all covered by dusts..) and let me say that Mass Effect is probably one of the most defining game of this generation.. I relly love it and I think that I will replay it o many time...

Now I have both consoles and, let me say, it would be at least hazardous to define GT Prologue and MGS4 the best graphic examples of this generation (especially the last one..)! View

Let be honest, PS3 is a wonderful and powerful machine in itself!!!
It has only 2 huge problems:
1) Since the beginning (and this is still happening today!) the PS3 capabilities were far over hyped and exaggerated by Sony! People still believe that the poor PS3 (or cell or bluray) is capable of time travelling!!!
2) The second huge issue is the fact that on the market was already presents another machine (one year older) that after all seems to be far better suited for videogames (xbox360).

Anyway history told us that during past gen market leaders not always were the most powerful machine of their time.

Is it clear that this time around Sony has made huge mistakes (on hardware side, on line up, on loosing exclusivity and so on..) but it has a powerful Brand and huge influential power over media (that more than often covered and supported Sony lies). Ah, I just forget to mention that Sony has proved (last time at least for me) that it has been capable of use the power of lies wisely. View

Use a larger disk and use the addittional space to copy multiple times the same data... just to avoid installation!?!?!!

Let's only hope that next time Sony will assemble a more videogame dedicated machines... View

Well, actually it seems that they need 4 - FOUR - developers teams to bring Bioshock on PS3... View

These pictures shown:
-) Flat, horrible low res textures not only in the background but also on vehicles and main weapons!!!
-) An overall lack of colours and inspiration in the art design;
-) Last Gen explosions (terrible!)
-) Only ONE kind of enemy!!!
-) Ridiculous shadows (look at the one with the guy that blasts the tank…look at the shadows under his legs…)
-) a monotone and unexciting level design

WOW…considers also that these photos on EGM have a promotional intent…
Do they really hype you?
I really do not think that a lot of blur & bloom could hide the fact that this is a real average product especially in consideration of its release date and PS3 life cycle…

I am a PS3 owner that recently bought also an X360….
Let me only say that now I have become a GREAT Xbox supporter…

I really suggest every PS3 owner to think about it and take an Xbox360 (especially if the price cut rumour will be true…). Or at least to try some of its games…

A part from technical aspects, PS3 has failed in delivery quality (and quantity let me say!) games.
I am tired of playing Uncharted, Cod4 and Sigma…
MGS4 (to me the last in-game videos show an horrible graphic, very old gen) it will be only a good movie to watch…
I have bought PS3 for gaming…
And so, as I have told elsewhere in this site, after months of doubts (Kojima statement, developers statements, tangible evidences,SONY LIES, delayed games, canned games, bad performances, MANDATORY INSTALLATION!!! And so on..), the yesterday conference of Square Enix, ( as well as MGS4 in-game) has allowed me to take the right decision…

I will definitely buy a 360 this week end (and a copy of MGS4 to watch)…
And I tell you this: on Monday I will be a gamer finally! I will have so many titles to choose from and so many others in the coming months…
If I only consider that as a Playstation 3 owner the only title that I consider interesting until December is Resistence2…
On Monday I will finally enter again in the world of videogame… Lost Odyssy, Blu Dragon, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Gear of War, Halo, Ninja Gaiden 2 and all the new Square Enix, Fable 2, Too Human, C&C..
Too much games!!!

OMG.. my worst fear realized…

MGS4 in game graphic seems “old gen” compared to COD4, Assassin Creed, and Army of Two.
But the thing that made me crazy is reading people say “WOW” “Great” “the helicopter..”…
But is it possible that your love for Sony made you such blind?

Well, my comments history is the clear mirror of my disappointment.
I used this forum to shear a personal feeling and to check if someone else feels the same.
I never talked about Xbox. I do not care about it or WII.
As I said, my purchase choice has been a Sony PS3. And no, I do not want to sell it.

I cannot see your point. You think that I pretend to have a PS3. Ok. Can I ask you why?
Why should I pretend to be a PS3 owner?
Do you think that my complaints as PS3 owner can possibly hurt the mind of other happy owners?
Come on be serious!

Are you happy with all the lies that Sony told us (and that possibly influenced your purchase decisions)?
Do you still believe that CELL and BLURAY allow us to time travel?
Are you happy with 2007-2008 PS3 line up?
You believe that in-game MGS4 graphic (not cinematic) looks WOW?

But I have a total different feeling right now: I feel cheated by Sony as a customer.
And I just want to finish it here and now. So I need the opinion of other people that like me thinks that Sony has deceived us enough.

2008, until now, is a HUGE disappoint for me as a PS3 customer… Worse that last year, let me say!
A part from a GT peek (wow they made me pay for a demo…I must be really desperate) and a worse version of GTA4… Sony has practically released nothing valuable.

My only hope is MGS4… but a part from all the “WOW” and “AWESOME” that I read around (again, it seems that we are very desperate..), I have seen very a old gen in-game graphic…

I hope I am wrong… but COD4 (and also Assassin Creed) look much more WOW and AWESOME to me…and they are almost an year older…
