yes they might have but that response doesnt explain why they didnt think to cache some tiny menu images that are constantly accessed but quite happy to cache 6gb of data to the HDD for GT5. Also if no caching is occuring then the images will always be being requested for download by all users so its a bit of a strange decision. I've read nothing but bad comments about the euro store design compared to the US one so in europe it disappoints and is not a good first impression for the non technical who wont understand why it isnt working properly. Just because some xbox guy at ign says it's a step in the right direction doesnt mean the points suddenly arn't valid.
"However with the images apparently not being locally cached once downloaded it remains to be seen if this problem will just be restricted to the first few days of launch as everyone goes into the store to check out the new look or if it will continue on into the coming weeks."
