I agree, when set sim, the cars should show more damage and have more of an impact. However, I also see it as a game for which I payed 60 bucks for and wouldn't not want my gaming experience to be hampered too much by damage just so that semi-pro race car drivers can spooge in their hands do to the realism.

I also know why the Author of this article (who by the way no forza fan, that's just hokie BS) choose to flame on the damage control, because the rest of the game it PRESTINE. The handling was nice with my controller I can only imaging how nice it would be if I wasn't too lazy to pull my wheel out. If I were to rate the demo it would be as follows:

Graphics - 9.5
Handling - 10
Damage System - 7
A.I. - 9.5
Sound - 9.5
Fun - 10
Overall 9.0 - 9.5

I think this damage system whining is getting too much attention, it's really not that much of an issue. The funny thing is people are whining about damage physics and they'll spend the entire time playing trying not to damage the car...lol

@bathj - that little graphics forza 2 - forza 3 thing you did is utter bullsh!t. I mean really, don't be such a drama queen, the graphics in this game are Prestine. But then again, I'm really not as anal as most of you guys on sh!t that doesn't impact the fun of the game. It is a game isn't it?

What do people want. We already know that 10 out of 10 people will crash when racing in a video game. If they gave you "REALISTIC" crash physics and results, your A$$es would be whining that you can never finish a race because after you crashed your car quit running because the engine was smashed. You would be whining that you axle broke and your car is pulling to the left on the right turning oval track. Your driver got run over when his dumb arse was tossed from the car during a rollover.

For the person asking if the limited edition 360 should break would they replace it with a regular 360? How could they, a regular 360 can run a 250 gig HD :)

Just finished ordering mine. Funny thing is, I have a pro with a 120 gig upgrade, I have an original 60 gig PS3, and I have a wii. Now I will also have a 250 gig limited edition MW2 360, wasn't even a difficult decision.

I needed a gaming machine for the bedroom for my lazy days, I was contemplating getting a PS3 slim, and then it happened, I caught word of the MW2 edition. That was all it took, especially since I was already gonna shell out the 60 bucks for the game anyway. So I saw it as getting a 250 gig 360, with extra controller and headset for 339. I already have a mediacenter PC in the bedroom with a built in blu-ray player so, the PS3 slim having a BD drive wasn't a factor in my decision. Plus my house is fully wired for data although I have wireless, none of my gaming machines use wireless.

For those complaining about the economy and money, I totally understand, but right now for me that's not really an issue, I have a great job, a good savings, and I'm pretty well invested for retirement someday. Haha, the funny thing is my girl ordered a 200 pair of shoes at the same time I ordered my 360 and I looked at her like she was a fool...lol 200 bucks for some shoes are you kidding me? Haha she just looked at me and said "Don't even go there." I could do nothing be smile and STFU, everyone has their pleasure who am I to knock hers right? View

I don't consider the 250 gig HD not being able to be bought separately to be negative news. I do know that even good 360 news on N4G tend to mysteriously end up with a negative spin put on it. Just as this some are trying to do with this bundle.

Although, I think they are just saying that. This 250 gig drive will become available as soon as MS does it's next major update.

I can see lots of value in this bundle, and I think I will buy it to put in my bedroom for those days when I don't feel like going downstairs to the den yet still want to blow sh!t up...lol View

I really didn't see 3xp as under valuing the PS3. What I saw was a guy naming off the features that MURKERR talked about in the first post and explained how some people may see the value of them differently. Whether it be himself or anyone else. Value and interpretation has a lot of things that work together. Look at how you valued his opinion based on how you interpreted it vs how I interpreted it.

Also, you spoke about the average Joe. Well the average joe tends to shop for popularity, and from where I see it, lots of people own 360s and so do a lot of their friends. So in most cases your average Joe will buy what will allow him to play with his friends. Additionally, your average Joe is not into blu-Ray as much so as DVD at this point.

Lastly, you based your rebuttal on the average Joe, yet 90% of your comparison was based on yourself which in your own words you said that you were a hardcore gamer. In my opinion, the two of the most underrated things that influence a person's purchase (other than hobbyist and enthusiast) are familiarity (like when the president referred to video gaming as "that xbox") and their friends, not wifi and hard drives. And although the Sony name is bigger in gaming, for a full year people got to go and buy Xbox 360s, see their friends play 360, see 360 commercials on TV, and become very familiar with the XBOX 360 name, while no other nextgen system was out, which gave a bigger increase to the Xbox brand name; which was already growing.

I guess where I am going with this is, you had your opinion which I respect and 3XP had his opinion which I also respect. You claim that you respected his opinion but you constantly claimed that he was downplaying the PS3 features rather than explaining (in his opinion) why he preferred the 360. I disagree with you on that. He put the features out there and explained why he didn't see them as a big deal.

The shear reason alone is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while. We are selling a game because we are developers and we are in the business to make money. So here's what were gonna do. Let's take the game the we spent hours on and throw away a bunch of possible revenue to make a point that the online platform should be free.

You are right, that is a fair question. But I guarantee you that there are people out there doing just that. I personally don't think it's a good idea to trade your fat for a slim, but there are people out there that want's the new hotness.

Here are a few possible reasons:

Smaller footprint
Cooler running with 45nm processor
bigger HD
Less Power Consumption
Faster at loading games
New Warranty since the old one was out of warranty

These are thing that appeal to some people. I'm the kind of person that's content with what I have but others must be on that leading edge. View

I am still using my launch 360. When playing Lips and stuff like that people in my house are always jumping around dancing and every thing else. I have NEVER had a scratched disk.

That was a very good and high quality argument that you put forward and I commend you for that. Bubbles up to you. I wish more people would make comments as convincing as those you made above.

People keep quoting this 54 percent failure rate. Even it that was true the same people know damn will with the hardware improvements and upgrades that Microsoft has made to the 360 failure rate is far from 54 percent. If the company that came out with the 54 percent failure rate wanted to do something helpful for the consumer, they would have done something that showed the failure rate of the 360 from the release of the falcon to now. That information would be more helpful to consumers and the gaming community overall instead of release the flame bait that they released.

In addition who actually confirmed their numbers? And was their system infallible and scientifically solid. Either way, good argument and trust me, those that disagreed with you know you speak the truth regardless of whether they pressed agree or disagree. I'm not even sure what these guys are putting their stock in, the new hardware or the price point. It's really hard to tell.

Sometimes I read the smack talk that these guys make and it makes me just shake my head in dis-belief. I own all three systems yet, I really hate to belong to the same great as these guys by owning a PS3. There are a lot of great PS3 owners and gamers out there. And then there are those that ruin it for all with their blind "immature" comments. They annoy me to the point that I don't even like playing online with them because I feel that somehow I am supporting their point of view. I wish N4G was a more sensible site with people willing and ready to have intelligent debates and may mature and intelligent comments. Sometimes, I think parents are parking their 10 years olds in front of the computer and letting N4G baby sit for them.

I doesn't really offend me. I just can see how it's possible to offend someone else. Someone getting pissed off about a video game...well that's one thing. But when it gets into religion, race, creed and other stuff It's just not cool.

I'm sure some people are not too pleased with dude calling himself Pope John Paul. But, IDK some people are just too darn insensitive, and don't really think before they act.
