Edge is Tougher on PS3 Exclusives than 360 Exclusives

In an earlier post on the article comments section for Edge's Halo ODST review, I showed that Edge has given 0 PS3 exclusives a score of 9 out of 10, and 9 Xbox 360 exclusives a score of 9 out of 10. If you count 10's, then they gave 1 PS3 exclusive a score of 9 or higher (LittleBigPlanet got a 10), and 10 Xbox 360 exclusives got a score of 9 or higher (Halo 3 got a 10). 2008 Quality vs. Quantity Battle: PS3 vs. 360

I'll start off with my editorial interpretation of the Metacritic statistics:
1. PS3 filled store shelves with the best titles in 2008.
2. Xbox 360 provided the best selection of downloadable games in 2008.
3. Both systems provided a formidable selection of quality both online and on retail shelves in 2008.
4. Xbox 360 sees nearly as much shovelware as the Wii.
