That is pretty big. Finally people can actually defend without losing out for the game-mechanic recognisation of the acheivements of taking flags, driving players to simply not bother defend at all and thus losing what they had already gained. View

Very cunning indeed. At least it is supporting a good thing: Education. And hopefully there is going to be a very happy collector at the end of the day. I prefer Warcraft 2 merchendise myself :) View

Indeed the speed is stunning. I've stuck with XP on my main PCs, but some of my lesser used PCs and relatives have Vista, I've also played about with Windows Seven. I've been impressed by all three in thier own way, but Vista was slower than both of them and I had to uninstall the entire OS twice due to it consuming a driver for a product making it unstable and simply being unable to yank it out any other way that wiping it. Not that I haven't seen XP having fruity driver moments, but it annoyed me for sure.

I'm hearing many good things across the testing board, so it looks quite promising, Windows Seven may be a pretty good OS in the years to come. Such is my hope anyhow. View

Indeed. I saw it as not wanting to commit themselves to supporting until it has been tested through and through on at least the Release Candidate to know that it'll work without problems, but they'll be doing everything they can (and shouldn't take much effort if any as the article explains) to make sure that Starcraft II works not just with what we have now but what is going to be the mainstay of OSs in the very near future. Iknow what you mean. Nothing like booting up Xcom or Monkey Island One even on Windows Seven Beta just to enjoy the good old times. View

Thank you. I'm glad of the praise. Should be fun to see how things pan out in the end of it all when the game is released, but I'm happy Xordiah didn't yell and throw stuff at me when I asked her for her help :D Fact for the all: Don't upset your Blizzard Rep, feed them chocolate instead! View

I did what I could with this article, sadly I'm pressed for time with other things right now. Hopefully this helps a great deal of people, its why I think up and write these things. View

I'll miss it at least.

I remember playing Warcraft II over IPX networking, a real pain but possible. View

Yep.

A great deal of people are going to be very, very loud about this in all probability. View

Monkey Island 3, 2D graphics yet beautifully drawn, it had its own style that nothing has replicated since twelve years on. It is fantastic what they can do sometimes with 'old' technology, totally turning it on its head. It just takes imagination, skill, and effort, with whatever tools you have at hand. View

Indeed, the Drone is the perfect example of how earlier art work, that some critics started using as a basis for giving Starcraft II flak for looking too cartoony and a Warcraft 3 Clone were basing their opinions on placeholder graphics, the less brilliant stuff is being phased out. View

Yeah, I'm glad Blizzard have given the art team enough time to not just do the work satisfactorily, but go back over and upgrade most of it all over again. Shows they want this game to shine. View

Chocolate fingers could very shortly become the next great stable currency to invest in: Buy now, else they could very well be mine, and devoured!

I know they'll work hard, and I doubt they'll compromise on the desire for low systems requirements just to tart the game up, Blizzard have always been very effecient at what they do. View
