It looks really good. but I don't get it. The game looks great in screen shots and gameplay videos, then why the hell were Gamespot and other gaming sites bashing it for its roughness and bland levels? View

Ok, so the game still has problems and not small problems like roughness of graphics but problems like weird AI, physics not working etc. etc.
& last time I check the game was out in May 22nd, I guess they can't delay it anymore. May is the last month, in June we have MGS4 this game will fail up against MGS4. So they are simply gonna release it with the problems and then may be release a path or something. View

I am not bashing the game's graphics. Its a must buy for me on day one just because of its insane combat system. But yeah the gameplay videos shown don't really look anywhere near those screen shot quality and yes I have seen HD footage of this game. It looks good but not as good as those screen shots or the ones released before.

Can A Game Be More Epic then THIS?
I mean we have seen alot of game videos + screen shots, but they are all from the middle eastern location and there are 4-5 more locations in the game and best of all we have little to no clue how the story unfolds. We gamers are in for a big treat. June 12 is going to be an epic date. View

Hey wait a sec. Did I just saw something related to drunk level in that trailer. Pause the clip at 35 sec. & you will notice that the camera view is blurred and the guy is in the bar. I guess thats how your vision will be when drunk. View

This just shows what a creative mind Hideo Kojima has. As for the failure of technology. I think its not the issue that the technology failed them. I think people are expecting too much especially from PS3, because Ken Kutaragi initially promised a machine that will do wonders. We have no doubt seen beautiful games like Heavenly Swords, Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted from PS3, but still they are no where near the promises initially made by Ken. Secondly the issue is time. Come on its just a year and a half since PS3 launch. You won't be able see the graphical wonders of God of War 1 and God of War 2 until the end of PS3 life cycle. View

Sony had a great E3 at 2007, 2006 was bad. Infact I think the whole problem they had in 2006 and early 2007 with there console market was because of weak E3 showing at 2006. I mean come on they lost there major franchise (GTA) to Microsoft, Sony showed games that were no where near release, infact most of the games Sony showed in 2006 haven't been released yet. But 2007 E3 was where Sony had better press conference then Microsoft. E3 2008 should be great for Sony unless they screwup big time. View

I think Killzone 2 is one tricky game. If Killzone 2 delivers on the promise, which I am praying that it does, then it will sell like crazy. I think except for the die hard fans, people are really gonna wait for reviews and then buy this game. I think the situation will be clear after E3 this year. View

I think part of the problem is. All of a sudden Sony & its game developers have become too quite about there games. We all know they are coming. But there is no new info. since E3 last year. Games like Getaway 3, Killzone 2, White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIII & versus, Infamous, Heavy Rain, War Devil & Eight Days. They all have just disappeared from the scene. The only new thing we know is Resistance 2 is coming, thats about it. I believe Sony will have one massive E3 showing. Which will make every one scream & hopefully they will show something about GOD OF WAR 3 :D View

PS3 definitely needs more RPG. The combat system shown on gametrailers.com suggests it not the typical turn base combat. Graphically it looks very good too & in the developer interview they said something about fall 2008 release. Keeping fingers crossed :P View

But I doubt they will release this game in sept. Sony is releasing LBP in sept. (most probably) and SOCOM is also dated for sept. Releasing 3 exclusive titles in one month seems kind of odd to me. I mean if they do, I am not the one complaining but I think if Killzone 2 is to release this year, I am guessing either Aug.(very hard) or Oct. (Most probable) View

I mean how can you say that we know more about Resistance 2. Not bashing or anything. We haven't seen a single gameplay video or trailer of resistance 2. All we have is a bunch of screenshot (that look amazing btw), the only thing we know more about resistance 2 is that it will have 60 player multiplayer & 8 player co-op. We know killzone 2 will have a multiplayer part plus one thing is somewhat assumed that Killzone 2 hopefully will have a co-op component as well. I am guessing Killzone 2 will have around 16 or 32 player multiplayer & upto 4 player co-op, but again as I said I am only guessing. View

There is a valid point in that article
I mean there is no question that these games will be great. I own both xbox360 & ps3 & yes in my opinion it is getting a little stuffy especially the last quarter for the ps3. This won't effect the sales people are going to buy both games & there is no question about it that they will enjoy it but I think the online play of anyone of those games is going to suffer. Because people will either play Killzone2 multiplayer or resistance 2's 60 player matches. Plus then you add a list of games like MGS4(June), LBP(Sept.), White Knight Chronicles(2008), Socom Confrontation(Sept.), The Agency(2008), Haze(May), Heavy Rain(2008), GT5 Prologue, sorry if I missed any but seriously that too too many quality games. Not to mention multiplatform games. Sony should delay some games to have some breathing space. View

Well I think Killzone will be around Sept. if they want to release it this year, they will never release it with Resistance 2, not because either is good or bad, its just doesn't make marketing sense. View
