10 for graphics, really? i haven't played the game yet and i will most probably playing the singleplayer on pc only, but from the videos i have seen. A 10? Please tell me if i am wrong, but isn't this running at 600 something resolution? I mean how can they give it 10. It's not like they are doing something extra ordinary in art department like heavenly swords or other fantasy games. View

Just saying, the two games you mentioned above runs at 30fps and GOW3 runs at 60fps. Plus the promised scale in GOW3 is going to be mind blowing.
Add to the fact that other games in the same genre can't even stand close to how early builds of GOW3 looks like. It's really hard not to admire what Sony SantaMonica studio is doing, plus the game is still 5 months away. So yeah lets see what happens.
By the way even with that much scale and framerate, Kratos character model is the most detailed character model I have ever seen. View

BTW isn't it coming to pc anyways? so please stop pretending that it's 360 exclusive.
There is no question in anyone's mind that splintercell is a great franchise and this one will be an awesome game as well and the logic given by that site is outright stupid. But the point remains that this generation i wouldn't call any game apart from the first party a true exclusive until this console race is over, with mgs4 being an exception so far. View

I don't know, I won't really be surprised if Ubisoft decided to port this game later on PS3. May be like fall of 2010 or early 2011. But again it's all speculation. I guess only time will tell. I think if this goes to PS3 it will be like the last major third party game that has gone from exclusive to multiplatform. (I know about SplinterCell double agent on ps3, but that doesn't count since how god awful that port was). View

People talk about Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, MassEffect, MGS4 and even Crysis, but I have never ever seen so much detail in a videogame character model before. Just the way his jaw and skin moves as he gets angry. I mean, its just mind blowing and yes i am a god of war fanatic. View

To be honest, I love Halo 1 and 2, especially 1, it was an amazing game. But there is one thing i like about Sony is that they never rely on one franchise. This gen the only disappointment i had from Sony's end was the lack of solid rpgs in general. Microsoft on the other hand relies too much on Halo. We all know holiday 2010 highlight from Microsoft will be Halo Reach. I mean seriously? How about a brand new IP, how about a new game that revolutionizes the genre like Halo 1 did. View

First of all I never implied nor mentioned Gears of War 1 & 2. You have to give credit where its due and Gears of War did set the initial bar for current gen visuals. Secondly both games were exclusive to there own system and if you own one of them, you shouldn't be bothered by the other one, both Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 are not the type of game that you will buy a console just to play them & like me if you own both then you should play both games because both are good games, it's just that in my opinion they don't have the wow factor that there prequels had. Now lastly my disappointment with R2 was totally related to campaign mode. R2 multiplayer is and was top notch.
Oh and yes i agree Gears of War 1 & 2 both had that cheating AI problem but since R2 is more of a in your face game rather then gears which is a cover based game. The problem was far more visible, there is nothing like watching the grims just run pass you allies to kill you. I mean srsly? View

Its Resistance 3. Sony will really try and push R3 as "THE SHOOTER" for Holiday 2010 since it will be pitting it up against Halo Reach.
One thing I can't seem to understand is that when you look at Ratchet games, the production values, the quality of overall product and the level of polish is simply mind blowing, but when you look at Resistance 2, one would think it was handled by Insomniac's B team. Resistance 2 is a good game with solid multiplayer, to a sequel of an amazing game but it was a let down for me because of cheating AI, uneven presentation and the overall lackluster story and narrative. View

I think this feature is not really about GT5 but about Playstation Eye, sony wants to push as much Playstation Eye cameras as possible, so when the motion controller finally arrives alot more people adopt to them as they already have the camera. In that sense they are trying to mitigate the initial cost of entry for Sony's motion controller. Lets see how much successful this strategy will be. View
