Yes, you can stick with the standard blade format if you prefer.

I'm quite looking forward to the new look though, I grew tired of the blades a long time ago and the new look reminds me of Alt + Tab on Vista which is a rather slick layout.

Avatars are terrible though, hopefully your not forced to use them. View

Believe it or not sending a courier to your home, repairing or replacing your console and returning it to you costs MS money. Like the customers, they'd rather the one you buy is the one you keep.

I think Resistance 2 and Gears will take care of COD4. What if seen of Far Cry's multiplayer doesnt overly impress me and sometimes the open environment can play against you, make fire fights few and far between. I could be wrong, but either way, there's to many great games coming for COD4 to stay at the top.

I love COD and play it all the time but really I'm just waiting for something else now. COD just passes the time better than any other FPS currently out.

PS... I think Far Cry 2 will have an excellent single player campaign. View

There has been a rumour that 6 months after MGS4's release date a new section of the single player will unlock. "The final chapter".

Anyone who has completed the game could probably understand why there might be a thread of truth in that.

I imagine you say that because there is also a 360 version? Either way rest assured if you aim to max it out it will be as demanding as any other graphically intensive PC game (Crysis, Far Cry 2 etc).

Ted's far to busy with games and building up his studio for stuff like this. Regardless where your console "loyalty" lies I think you have to admire him for his "tact" when it comes to interviews or tricky questions.

Dude Id be surprised if a 5th of the money went back into Live or PSN.

Both are an excellent source of revenue for their respective companies and a great way to recoup some money they have both lost on the hardware side of things.

Adding new features costs money yes, but the new feature also opens up a new source of revenue. Netflix/PSN video store for example, you think they make a profit or a loss from that?

Either way, niether of us know for sure but both Sony and MS are here to make money. View

Really? Care to link me to anywhere that even suggests co-op was missed because of storage space?

I guess LBP is missing co-op create because lack of space on the BR disc?

Both dev's have said it was a decision made so the games could meet there respective release dates.

Please enlighten me as to what exactly would be needed software side to allow co-op that requires a large amount of storage. View

hmmm.. If they do down the host/matchmaking route of COD4 then your right, they should definitely include host migration. View
