I bought it, and I love it. Shows how opinions can vary. But at £1.99 there not much you can complain about.

Mind you I've been an avid fan of Demoscenes for years, even back to the Spectrum days. I guess if your not this could be outside of your usual comfort zone. View

Less than 8 hours is not a fair statement. The dev doesn't put a number on it, he purely states it's not a full blown title like Halo 3. The author claims to have beaten Halo in under 8 hours so he's GUESSING at a shorter play time for Recon.

The game is a year away, I don't think you could really nail a definitive length of time onto a project that uncompleted and you have zero more knowledge of it than me.

Just another case of a headline being used to make a article seem far more interesting (and controversial) than it actually is. View

Wow, dude you dont know the ins and outs of millions of Core owners buying reasons and shouldn't pretend to. Perhaps some Core buyers (especially parents) bought it purely because it's the cheapest priced (not everyone has disposable £) and more importantly they're not informed of the potential features they lose by opting for that SKU.

People buy X for a host of different reasons, many of which arent part of your A and B. View
