I dont think you can really consider the old red/blue tinted specs as 3D anymore, all the current tech has completely moved away from that towards the linear polarized 3D glasses (clear lenses). View

I'm not 100% sure, it seems to depend on what you read and depending on what form of 3D tech in question. At it's most basic, it seems 1080p and 120hz is required, so in that case, many current HDTVs will be compatible.

But as far as I know, there is currently no 3D tech that works without glasses, they all require it. View

I doubt you'll se prices fall anytime soon (by that I mean, ever) but I still believe if you buy the "right" games for you, you get more than your moneys worth.

Let's not forget development costs are far greater than they once were, you want more, then you have to pay more. View

I think the trailer looked great, you could tell it was in-game anyway, but there were some cool set pieces like the ground slipping away and he grabbed the car (think it was a car) and continued to shoot while hanging, I hope there's plenty of that, a good cinematic feel.

The game is said to revolve heavily around choices, hopefully this is true and actually holds weight in how the story progresses. Many games make that claim, very few actually hold true to it. View

You mean exactly like the article is doing? Perhaps you should click the link before you poke holes in my post, it's ok for them and not me? Even if in a comedy fashion. Hence the "is still" in the title.

Perhaps they dont offer ME the same level of enjoyment because I'm an adult and more difficult to please, I dont except what I used to, which is my point a new young gamer who only knows whats on offer now, would not have more fun with Golden Eye.

If I gave you a metal ring and a stick, would you have as much fun with it as your great granddad did as a child? View

Nostalgia can play a wonderful trick on you, I played Golden Eye recently and it's terrible, sure I loved it back then, but you have to move with the times. Show it to a young gamer now, one playing KZ2/MW2/Halo etc and they'd laugh. View

It's just good to see a game that released really early in the year getting credit. Much like Oscar season, developers are usually stategic and release at times that will remain fresh in the judges mind.

Killzone is a fantastic game, I still even rate the technical achievement higher than Uncharted 2. The only console game I've seen that brings true volumeric effects, let alone the post processing. View

A separate developer creating a port will never achieve the same results as the original developer. You could argue a port is better than nothing. But if your not happy, do what you suggest.

If it isn't your project, you wont put the same effort/love into it. View

Correct, the PS3 can display "any" 60FPS game in 3D. Perhaps they're using different tech or something, I'm not sure. View
