This article almost had good points, but then ruined by by adding in a bunch of speculation and BS. I was particularly amused by the parts where it basically said, "Yes, Sony's been doing this for 15 years, but NOW they're doing it because of Microsoft!"

Are you serious? You can seriously admit that Sony has been doing something for 15 years, but suddenly attribute them doing the EXACT SAME THING to a company that's only been in this game 7 years?

They're attributing the redesigned PSN and new PS3 Slim to MS? Did they miss us on the PlayStation.Blog directly telling Sony that was what we wanted?

Also, I like how this idiot brings up exclusives like MGS, GTA, and Final Fantasy, but seems to have forgotten about Wild Arms, The Getaway, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank, Syphon Filter, Dark Cloud, Ico...you know, games that SONY put on the map for their past consoles. He just pretends like it was third parties doing all the work.

Thank Microsoft? No: f**k Microsoft. It's their money-grubbing ways that has held this entire f'n generation back, just because they were obsessed with beating Sony to market.

You want to thank someone for the steps that Sony has made? Try thanking the PlayStation community and Sony's willingness to listen to us. View

I actually would be shocked. Insomniac has a great relationship with Sony and I don't see them feeling the need to change that. They have NEVER, in their entire company history, made a game for a non-Sony platform. EVER. Could that change? It's possible. Is it likely? Not even remotely. View

Fair enough, and I did mis-read about GeOW. Now let's make your comment obsolete. Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Bioshock, Lost Planet, Braid, the Dead Rising squeal, and Castle Crashers just to start.

Valve isn't owned by EA; EA is simply a publishing partner. Bioware, however, IS owned by EA, and you did notice that the first 7th gen game Bioware made after EA acquisition was multiplatform, right? Or were you silly enough to believe that was a coincidence?

Now, I'm not saying it's 100% going to happen, but to say that it absolutely won't is short-sighted at best, mind-numbingly stupid at worst. I'd put the odds of a 70% chance at seeing this ME2 on the PS3 within a year of 360 release, and with more features to boot. View

I'd have to disagree. Using L4D as an example of why it won't come to the PS3 is pretty stupid considering how much we know Valve hates the console. Has Bioware shown a similar disinterest? Dragon Age: Origins says 'no.'

Sony owns the God of War IP, making porting to another system impossible (even if it wasn't a first party game, which for the record, it is), but MS doesn't own the rights to Mass Effect.

Your logic isn't sound.

Having said that, I think ME coming to the PS3 would be damned cool; I'd love to be able to play it. The best way would be to put both games and DLC on a disk and sell it to me. View

The censorship thing is important to me; if it's censored in the US, I'll import it. If they expect it to sell in the US, they better leave it the hell alone; I want Cage's original and complete vision of this game, not the "America-is-being-a-whiny -b1tch" version of it. View

I don't personally give a crap about cross-game chat, but the community wants it. Sony has been VERY good this generation about listening to the community, so EA issues or not, you can count on Sony making this happen. View
