Because most people are nosy bas**rds, thus why gossip publications exist. People like Cliff are this industry's equivalent of Hollywood celebrities. Some of us, including myself may not care much for what the man thinks, but sadly the majority do. You publish what gets attention, and Cliff's big mouth gets a lot of it. View

Well, it's nearly out anyway.

The bright side is, as you said yourself, the full game is just around the corner. The beta was probably made public in an attempt to win over anyone who still has doubts about Treyarch ruining the game.

Ultimately if you enjoyed Modern Warfare then you'll like World at War, but at the same time if you were growing tired of it then this new game won't do much in helping you regain that spark of interest. View

Beta is now just another word for multiplayer demo.

The Modern Warfare beta was the same thing, as nothing was really changed in the final product and it was all just one big multiplayer demo proclaimed as a beta. It's the trendy thing to do nowadays. View

I've yet to meet someone with these who actually doesn't suck.

I play COD4 and things like this, along with the new Turtle Beach trend is annoying me big time. I don't mean to brag but I'm a pretty good player, and I'm getting sick of people saying I have a modded controller just because I can press the RT fast, or that I'm using Turtle Beach headphones because I'm not deaf enough to ignore his blatant footsteps trying to flank me.

Here's a tip to those who buy these accessories. If you want to play games where it's less about skill and more about how much you're willing to spend for victory, why not get into PC gaming where you can throw your money away on an insane rig with a keyboard and mouse that costs stupid amounts of cash? I like to play certain games on consoles because I can rest easy knowing everyone is using the same console which has the same specs and the same controllers, the only edge you will have over your opponent is internet connection and skill.

By the way I'm not trying to diss PC gaming, just in case my words seemed a little harsh. I'm simply stating that unlike console gaming, it's rare to join a server where everyone is using the same mouse, keyboard and speakers as you are. View

What a Pointless Article

That article didn't state anything that we didn't already know. The only fresh content came from a Sony enthusiast who has nothing better to do but kick up flame wars with his silly posts. I mean look at this gold:

Where in the email does it state Bioshock IS coming to the PS3 in that case? So we can conclude that 2K have not confirmed or denied a Bioshock port, incredible detective work.

"As you can see “PS3″ is listed after the comma. They denied it by saying the code is very early, but just goes to show it was in fact being coded on/for PS3, but was haulted due to a contract/deal with MS for it to be exclusive."

Yes, this is old and 2K have said that the initial plan was to make the game multi-platform before Microsoft made the deal, so how does this help his argument exactly? We already KNEW it was at one point being developed for the PS3 alongside the 360, but does anyone know how far it was into development before 2K focussed exclusively on the 360 version? No, they don't.

Maybe I'm being a little harsh, but rumours are exactly that - rumours. View
