It's his opinion, but there are some significant holes in his reasoning.
The 360 may well "win" the console war, but this article doesn't convince. I have issues with two of his statements:
1. (for the PS3) "There was also some concern in the media and from customers about the lack of titles available at launch. The way I see it, those problems are still present."
I think even the most staunch 360 supporter will admit that the PS3 software base is getting a lot better. The games today are of better quality than what was offered a year ago. Even if the better titles are 3rd party/multiplats, they are nonetheless good. Saying that the state of things has not changed since launch rings of denial.
2. "But let's not forget that Nintendo is not innocent in all this. If it weren't for first-party titles, I'm not convinced that the Wii would be nearly as popular as it is today."
Yeah, and if my aunt had sack, she'd be my uncle. He brushes the Wii aside with this non-statement. The fact is the Wii is still in crazy demand (although it is getting easier to find) and they still generate a lot of buzz with their upcoming releases (WiiFit).
The 360 may "win" it all, but not because of any of these author's head-in-the-sand non-arguments.
