Nice!
I really wanted to try the game, but being a ps3 only owner I was a bit disappointed that the demo wasn't ps3 bound. now I'm happy and wondering what will Ubisoft do about the countries that aren't in the war like the UK and Canada (I understand there is a 'New' Commonwealth') but I really want to play Canadians as I am one myself. I'll have to see if the demo impresses me, if it doesn't I'll probably wait for an expansion or the followup. View

The fact they don't have any British weapons has turned me off the game...I just love using the plain Lee-Enfield, but then again, if I'm allowed to use the Russian equivalent (Moisin-Nagant) I might still keep this on my to-buy list for this fall, any idea bout split-screen? To me, split screen is crucial in any FPS, to instill a bit of fun when not messing around with single or network multiplayer. View

Nice to know...
Considering they're canceling SGA, which is perhaps my most fav tv series of all time, I guess all us Stargate diehards on this site, if there are any can enjoy free updates on something stargate related rather than watching reruns. = / View

I wonder if there are trophies for getting every single possible ending? All I can say is, despite the fact this is old news, this basically guarantees my purchase of HR, I love re-playability.

Though I feel sorry for people that are going to try to show walkthroughs!, I'd say that would be very tough. View

As a Canadian student and law buff... I have to say this is outrageous... I mean since it's 2 sixteen year olds, they're already above the age requirement for mens rea (aka the guilty mind), and the judge gives them that stuff as punishment?

I mean at the age of 16, cases such as these should have been redirected from whatever court they're in; assuming that the court that gave this judgment was not a full criminal court, but what could possibly be a municipal court is a bad thing for the Canadian Justice System.

The SINGLE fact that they needed a psychological review? The itself could've kept the 2 idiots in a mental institution for life. (It's been proven that pleading insanity when confronted by a Crown Attorney who has just proven you guilty can result in a longer period of incarceration then just pleading guilty or pleading innocent and losing.)

I've never had a cat, but had a dog. To take pleasure in watching the suffering of animals is sickening to me.

I really hope that the upcoming election, some point on this is made by the political party leaders.
So to my fellow Canadians that can vote,

Vote Harper. Vote for harder laws. Vote Conservative. View

I dunno why, but I feel that if the main members of the Ensemble Studios team shipped out and made a new 'studio', what would they call it? I personally think they should keep the name Ensemble Studios, the name has a solid rep in the area of RTS and Microsoft is going to have to help them get out good games after the change, to rebuild the reputation. I just hope to see another Age of Mythology in the near future. View

damn... These guys made some of the most enjoyable RTS I've played...

Age of Empires Series, and Age of Mythology was one of my favs, I hope this isn't true, as Support for an RTS after launch is usually very important...

Best of luck to the guys at Ensemble Studios if this is true! View

I agree with both Fishy and Dark General, the addition of offline modes that help teach people, and the updated features of Warhawk make it a truly fantastic online game.

That being said, I won't be playing CoD4 anytime soon, having finished everything, except prestige I'd rather wait for an update from IF for something or they give out the map pack for free.

and by the way you guys, feel free to add me on PSN if you want, I play weekends only, now with summer over, but I play co-operatively, I use the mike when I need to (I don't spam my musiks, or my singing voice) View

@ Overr8ed
I'd buy both versions, but to be honest, a real-life auger would cause me to instantly pre-order and stand outside my best buy or eb games to get it. Shame the hailstorm (i think this is the name, i think I forgot though) would've been cooler, yet real life size? No, the hailstorm would be the biggest a$$ replica of a fictional gun ever to be purchased by the consumer on a wide scale.

But don't deny that would be awesome! View

~facepalm~ at 'article'

There is only a Ps3 version being sold in Japan, which means, in essentially all scenarios bar an apocalyptic one, Ps3 sales will be larger. Those Japanese gamers really like their (J)RPGs

Not to mention that, but since the Japanese PS3 version is coming first, before Square Enix does localization work on the (rest of the world's) PS3 version, and making a version for the 360, Ps3 sales are guaranteed to be higher initially if not all the way through.

end ~facepalm~ View

I won't get into an argument on what games are the best fighting series, as I'd say I'm relatively new to the scene of gaming, but of the fighting games I've played, I've found Tekken to be pretty easy to get into. (Probably because of my countless hours playing Tekken: Dark Resurrection on my psp.)

@ thekiller

the only problem I find with your argument on the 'new' gameplay, is that a fighting game, or any game in a particular genre, has to keep some of the core mechanics in the game, otherwise it sort of messes up the way older fans of the series experience the game, even if it is for the better, but I've found the controls in Tekken to be a fine piece of work. But perhaps I misinterpreted what you posted? View

Very very nice. I'm really looking forward to the final product in February. But on topic with the video, is it just me, or are those chums on the intruders (hover/aircraft/transport)at 1:11 always the most unluckiest sods ever? They always get blown up after having a chat.

Sucks to be them I suppose. XD View

from what I know, there is no split screen right now... I need to go look for the source, but I think Guerilla mentioned that they will try to incorporate it by launch. View

Sweet.

'nuff said.

Though working Lancers (life sized or action-figured) would be sweeter!

Last time I viewed a preview of The Agency by Sony Online Entertainment, the producer referred to the game as an Online Persistent Shooter, OPS which judging from this article bout Huxley, is almost the same thing. I for one an interesting in how both of these are going to turn out.

Game-on! View

Good read, that being said, if any game has a good story, I'm willing to try it.

But let's say games did take a big slant on religion, I can see it now:

"Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction -> Missionaries: Playground of Conversion"
