i saw the trailers of both, resistance 2's trailer is longer, i did like both of them.

in my opinion my money's on gears2, but that doesn't mean that think so negatively on resistance 2, totaly the opposite you'd be suprised.

The system's resources are nearly identical. PS3 has 256mb GDDR3 + 256mb XDR. 360 has 512mb GDDR3 + 10mb EDRAM.

PS3 has a faster stash of half of its memory, and 360 has a MUCH faster (but smaller) pool of EDRAM besides its main pool of memory. 360 utilizes this cache to maintain extremely high bandwidth between data that's comsing in from the Xenos, being rendered in engine (back buffer) and data that's ready for the HANA upscale (front buffer).

Those who say that the (PS3/360)'s solution is better than (PS3/360)'s should really just think about it more objectively. Like, how are the developers using each console's particular setup when they make their games. PS3 supporters (look at how decent I can be) want to bash the 360 and say that it's not capable of rendering high-def gaming. That's not true. 360 has more than enough power. You wanna say that being on a DVD9 is preventing it from having good games? That's not true either. Ring of Light errors? Maybe it's true, but not to the degree that people have been led to believe.

The promises of having the best results with PS3/360 don't mean anything when it comes down to the actual application. That's why everything in the computer world is "theoretical". For instance overclocking something may lead to "theoretically" more performance, right? But oc also causes over heating, during which transistors leak more of the current out and the cpu becomes unstable. So what good is it to tout theory and deny fact?

Point is, there are many factors that can contribute to performance in gaming. Memory is just one of them. Graphics processing horsepower is another. I'm sure we ALL know about RSX, and its...limitations. So those who want to point a finger at 360 and laugh, by all means do so. But just know that RSX is WOEFULLY behind the times. And a poor excuse coming from a console that launched at $600, has dropped down significantly and has YET to comeup with RSXs shortcommings, other than the fact that CellBE must now waste its horsepower to make up for the ends that it clumsily drops.

ps3's chip comes with 8 total, from that 8 two get subtracted.

360 has three 3.2 GHZ processers for a total of 9.6 GHZ

ps3 gpu has 24 vertex and 8 pixel dedicated shaders

360 has a total of 48 unified shaders, they can be used for both pixel and vertex

MEMORY:

ps3 has 256 of GDDR3 for graphics, and 256 for main system

360 has 512 of GDDR3 that can be for both main system and graphics, 360 also has 10 MBS of embedded memory.

bioshock promoted "NEXT GEN" last year for pc and 360, we are now moving on to the year 08.

this kind of DLC, does indeed take the fun and purpose out of what RPGs are made of, i really do hope that they add more to the list of dlc,

as it stands, to some this kind of dlc might be of some use to them, and to others will end up saying that this dlc is a total waist. View

i played the demo, very fun game getting it on day 1, but if any of you had ever played the demo leveling up was actually easy, but i don't know if it is much when your a level 60.

every fvcking game i've played "from pokemon to FF8 and lost odyssey" leveling up has always and still always goes to a sudden crawl when your at 50+.

the numbers it takes to level up start to double and triple when you hit high levels,

this kind of DLC is see only 2 thing that might be helpful,

1. if you want to be a level 40 at the beginning of the game you can do so by getting this DLC.

and

2. if your tired of spending lots of time in battle (mostly in your higher levels) and your tiered of putting hrs of your time trying to get to the next level.

NOW, if your a hard core gamer and you like and always liked the idea of leveling you will have the option of NOT getting the DLC. View
