Yes you can do that via the store, but it would be nice to have the online web portal not just for that I said but other things like checking your messages and replying and looking up your trophy status. I know you can do a lot via the store, and this would be a great addition to the store they could make too.

Again it would be nice to use one account to keep in touch with friends instead of going to other sites to stay in touch, this would help the PSN rival more with the XBL. And the online store is more catered to the PSP audience then the PS3'ers. View

Indeed TVersity has saved me a ton of time and saved space on my PS3's HDD too. I love this program and every PS3 owner should try it out at least once, you owe it to yourself too, if you have tons of media do yourself a favor try TVersity. View

Last comment I can make here,

Yes I have indeed sent a e-mail to them, in fact I did that before I wrote this post up too. I know just talking doesn't get it done, you have to direct it to the right people you are right. Now if more people did it too then yea it would get done probably by this year too.

nbsmatambo, Yes there is a cart you are right. But you can't do a download all with out adding them each, nor do you get a discount like other online rental / purchase places. If would be nice to just be able to buy all and get a discount, this way it saves money for you and promotes more people to buy shows.

Aman killinet247, that store is the best for all us gamers and geeks. By far the best deals on HDD's too. Incase you were interested in upgrading that stock PS3 HDD, you can find damn good prices at Frys Electronics too for them, and not maxtor either but WD and Seagate.

I agree on that with you bro, but for other shows its not. I found it cheaper still at Fry's Electronics. It's just messed up they did not add a "Buy All" feature yet, I would have thought by now they would have too.

Exaclty what I said bro, its insane to buy each episode individually when they can bundle them up in packs for discounts.

It would promote more people to buy more stuff then.

Glad I have Qwest
I have never said that before, but now I do. I mean you pay for unlimited access to the net to begin with in your monthly bill from your ISP provider so charging you again for something is clear sign of a greedy company.

I mean I have Qwest Price for Life plan with MSN premium and love it, I pay about 55 dollars a month for it, and use it most on Thursdays and Mondays to download updates to my PC and PS3, The company that does the cap will lose customers faster then Elton John doing costume changes during one of his shows.

Watch if AT&T does it, Version and Qwest will be overloaded with new customers now that both are offering Fiber Optic connections now too.

Next AT&T will announce they are discontinuing the rollover minutes they adopted from Cingular when they buy them out. View

Whatever happened to using a can of air and dusting off the system from time to time. Back in the day to fight dust on are PC we made air filters out of swifter pads that block about 50% or more of the dust from entering the system while still allowing air to flow. I used a standard air filter and cut and made small pieces to fit over the vents to block the dust and still allow air in and out without the dust.

This is not a smart move at all, because of the damage you can do to the fans by making them run at max for extended time you could blow out the fans and be lefted up a creek.

Used the time tested ways of cleaning electronics, one is buy some compressed air in a can they come in three packs and give it a good blow every now and then. Now that the laughter has stopped after that comment the next is the vacuum to remove dust or my way which is make a homemade air filter for your PS3 to fit over the vents.

I do not recommend this at all, I done a lot of crazy things to electronics to test for vering things and this I would not do.

I guess we will have to wait and see, considering they are launching the Social Club just in time for this game, and it will track players progress and stats. Only then will we see how long it actually takes someone to complete GTA:IV to 100% completion.

But like it said 56 hours to complete singleplayer not reach 100% completion, Remember how long San Andreas was for some and this is going to be a Epic of a game. View

No matter what console it is on, we all win
This game is going to be epic for gamers and no matter what one person says the game is going to look amazing on both systems,

They both have strenghts and weaknesses, but in the graphics department both have amazing graphcis to offer and will for this game,

I say enough with the which one is better crap already, and get back into the game. View

I stand corrected
Good Point athlon770, I forgot about that.

I remember reading your post and then making up mine and some how forgot about that how could I.

But still if you want a quicker way I found for a friend is this,

First, go out and buy 2.5 inch Labtop harddrive that is SATA ok,

Second, make sure you buy a enclosure for the 2.5 inch HDD,

Third, Unplug your PS3 and move it to a safe workabout area,

Fouth, remove the current HDD,

Fifth, Install the new HDD,

Sixth, Turn on the PS3 with the new HDD,

Seventh, You will be prompted to format the new HDD do so,

Eighth, Once you are done formatting the New HDD, Turn off the PS3 and unplug it from the powerstrip.

Nineth, Remove the Harddrive from the PS3 and install the old one, now as long as you have not reformatted the original HDD if will work like before.

Tenth, Install the New formatted HDD into the Enclosure you brought earlier, and hook it up to your PS3 via the USB port and you have a external HDD in under 20 minutes that way too. View

Can't wait
FireFox 3 looks great with the memory improvement is must, since FireFox 2 uses a good amount of memory.

Can't wait for FF3 in June, and by the way FireFox has skins already called personas you can install and change at will. View

What you should always do first,,
(Caution this is a long comment)

Is back up your data for swapping HDD's a known fact in the world of electroincs to keep up to date backs of all your data you find necessary for you,

You could have avioded by simply going to the any electroincs store and picking up a internal HDD either SATA or Ultra 100 doesn't matter, and then buy a enclosure for it, why you ask I am talking about a standard 3.5 inch HDD not a 2.5 inch Labtop style stay with me here ok. Ok after you pick up both things ok the Harddrive and Enclosure, please make sure you are buying a quailty HDD too like Seagate, Western Digital or Hitachi. Don't buy Maxtor at all trust me on that fact. Now that you have you Harddrive install it in the enclosure usually a simple task couple of screws later you have made a interanl HDD into a external HDD you are half way Home at this point ok.

Now formatting of the HDD is important here ok, there are many systems out there that can format to various styles like FAT32 or NTFS. Now the PS3 will only recongize FAT32 not NTFS, so I use Partition Magic to do this part there is a ton of programs out there too that can do it for you, now remember that FAT32 is limited to 32GBs it can format for that space, so you will have to make a couple of partitions, again simple if you have a standard program like Partition Magic to do it for you.

After you have Partition the drive into FAT32, hook it up to your PS3, and then turn on the system, remember that most Enclosures require you to have a separate power supply to it to power up, so plug in the Enclosure into the power strip and turn on the enclosure too. Now once you have both your PS3 and Enclosure turn on and running make sure the system sees the external HDD, again easy to to see you should see a USB sybmol followed by the drives known name. Now go into System Settings via the XMB and locate back up data, and then back up all your data you need, I suggest you do this at least once a month just in case something happens. Once you have a back-up copy of your data you are set, and since you now have a external USB like mass storage device hooked up you no longer need to upgrade the interanl HDD unless you really need the space.

But Once you have the Drive in place the external one of course you can than make back-ups and go ahead and replace the internal HDD and just simply hook up the external HDD to the PS3 again and it will see that you have a back-up file and ask if you want to install the back-up files at that point you say yes and wait, and then you are done.

We talk about this a lot over triplechat about upgrading HDD's on the PS3 and have wrote up walkthoughs with pictures too,

Its not that hard to do, if you upgraded your PC HDD's before you can upgrade your PS3 HDD with no problem.

Thank You all who read this, its a handy guide. View
