I can see compression artifacts in those screens.

When will these comparison sites learn to use .png images for screenshots? Or do they not know how to use photoshop to save *maximum* quality (level 12) .jpegs?

If you are really going to try and do a comparison, use comparison-worthy image types.

Seriously....it wasn't too long ago in western culture that 15 or 16 was considered the courting / marriage age for young women. Men were frequently somewhat or much older...but nowadays, people are so absolutely paranoid that anything even remotely approaching the age of 18 is considered a mortal sin and mark on that person's life and is served with jail time and a life-long record.

Modern society is so paranoid and is so involved that it's disgusting.

I'm not condoning a 20-something going after a young teenage girl, but for crying out loud people...there's far...FAR FAR FAR worse out there.

There's a little thing called "perspective" that most people totally lack.

The taxpayer money housing this guy for up to a decade could be used to incarcerate a murderer or a violent rapist or a corrupt official. View

There is no "true HD" or "Full HD". Those are just marketing gimmicks to get people to go into debt by using credit to buy massive TVs they can't afford.

There are only varying levels of "definition"

- Standard definition (CRT TVs) = up to and including 480i, 576i (interlaced)
- Enhanced Definition (Old computer monitors, 6th generation videogame consoles, Wii) = 480p, 576p (progressive scan)
- High Definition (7th gen. consoles, Modern widescreen LCD monitors, LCD/LED/OLED TVs, plasmas, etc.) = 720p, 1080i, 1080p

It's broken down even further when dealing exclusively with Computer monitors.

- XGA
- WXGA
- SXGA
- WSXGA
- UXGA
- HD-1080
- WUXGA View
