Really can't see why Gears going to the PC is a bad thing for Microsoft. If anything its a Win, Win; Microsoft needs to do better at promoting its Windows Games for Windows7 before Apple sneaks in the PC Games market. What better way to do it?

Why the hate and the games not even here. If they do something dumb with it yes by all means call it out. However if they enhance GOW and makes a something cool i'm all for it.

I'm going to sit back and let them do there job which is to inovate and create a good game for me to play. As a customer I will tell them if I like it or not when I play the game. View

Seriously common sense isn't common.

1.) Thought everyone by now knew about the RROD and that it was most common in the older 360s; 360 has an over heating issue so it should be well vented, meaning don't block the back, don't place it on shelf where it doesn't have a lot of room to breath. If you don't like the high maintenance pick up a Wii, or PS3. Kind of stupid to keep hearing these new articles.

2.) Refurbished products generally break down over and over again. So why go down that road?

On any electronic device that's over 100 bucks I get the extended warranty; and why wouldn't you because you get the full price of the device from the day you purchased it as a store credit despite any price drops. Last Gen I had to get both my PS2 and XBox replaced about 5x each due to faulty DVD drives. This Gen my 360 died I picked up an Elite for an extra 50 bucks and haven't had any problems since. View

I’m a person that like the Halo Series Halo One I owned it but wasn’t so much into it. It wasn’t until Halo2 I really started to get into Halo and it was only the story mode I liked I could careless for the online part. When Halo 3 came along I really like the features they added for the game with the online stats and I like the maps a whole lot more made the multiplayer part fun for me. I debated about getting Halo 3 ODST for the price but after playing it, I feel it’s worth the price; the story is good so far the levels are fun to play and they have really been testing my skills. I’ve never been a fan of the Halo series graphics but this game is much more than the graphics is, it has got a story to keep you interested, the way the levels, weapons, characters, buttons, multiplayer and etc… are layout it make Halo fun to play. –Good Job Bungie View

As a software engineer myself I can tell you many of us are so much of perfectionist with our work that we are our own worse critic and are always finding ways to improve code we wrote or to make something better. This being said if we let this process go on forever we would never release anything, so it's good Sony is making wrap it up and ship it. View

I don’t see Twitter being the thing that replaces N4G. You really have no clue when big news is going to come from someone and one would have to subscribe to lots of different Twitter feeds to get news, not only that the wait and possibly the creditability of the source.

The thing that will kill N4G is the quality of news, and its community. Simply people are looking for a creditable news source and a place to find it, and a group willing to have open-minded a conversation doesn’t hurt. View

I would have never thought to look at this game. The game looks killer. I'm still going to pick up MW2 but I'm going to add this to the list of games I pick up. Reminds me of Delta Force for PC but much improved. View

Not sure why people are upset with the PS3 numbers even if VGChartz got it wrong it still indicates the PS3 is doing really well and the Wii and 360 aren't even running the same race at the moment. What's more surprising is the Wii's fall from grace, never thought I would see the 360 so close to the heals of the Wii. Bottom line much props PS3. View

The graphics are good but umm we have seen a lot better on the PS3 example: Uncharted, KillZone, and GT5. I don't think this game shines for graphics, if anything this is a blow to a game like Fable 2 on the 360 and farther strengthens the PS3's exclusives. One other thing I will add is this is more on the RPG side and RPG while a popular genre but it’s not the most popular so I don’t see it being a death blow, but it does hurt the 360. View

If Microsoft acquired EA, they would still release games for other consoles. I believe the difference is they just would pick what was going to go exclusive. My reason for this is it would be stupid to kill off extra funding however it would work in their favor to make some big selling titles timed exclusives or just exclusive all together. This would insure their console success. Remember that also means they will have some influence over UBISoft because they would get the majority shares EA already owns in the company from the attempt at a hostile takeover.

I could see regulators not viewing this favorably however MS does have the smallest game studio. This all depends on what the board members at EA would be getting out of this. Cash payout and to sit on the board at MS Game Division may be more lucrative. View

Part of the christmas push. Microsoft doesn't want to give momentum to the PS3. Microsoft doesn't drop its big item Project Natal till sometime next year and that would be like the 360 Slim. So they are playing hold on till then. View

@Fishy Fingers – You may think gaming with G is adequate, but I’m sure the other people in the game seeing you lag aren’t saying the same thing. The other problems with wireless include over saturation from other devices on the same frequency causing interference which leads to signal degradation and lag. The farther you are away from the receiver the latency and lower bandwidth. G while you can stream media it’s very noticeable that it cannot keep up.

I personally wouldn’t buy a wireless device for anything I would game on. I would go CAT5e or higher and if I couldn’t get a hardwire to the room I would go Powerline. But then again I’m hardcore gamer from the PC side of the house and don’t like lag. View
