Agreed, bubbles to all! Metroid Prime was huge and epic.

Question, there's a boss that I always had issues with later on in the game (near or before getting the phazon suit). I forgot the level/map, but it's some weird eggbot-like thing that I only ever seem to beat by getting stuck in tight spot where it can't hurt me and then just shooting the hell out of it. You need a special visor to see it when it cloaks, and also it can take your health down like water, really quick.

Anybody got any idea what I'm talking about and if so maybe you got a better strategy?

I don't think KillZone 2 did much for the genre but sure it has graphics. So it might be number 6 or 7, MW2 still looks better.

I'm glad to see Forza 3 in there too, the game has incredible graphics. View

It's the finest example of truly next gen thinking and development...maybe you were disappointed because your mind is still stuck on Earth and the 128 bit gen?

I mean REALLY? Most games don't even approach the level of realism of Mass Effect's characters or story, and I'm not just talking about graphics. The depth and attention to detail in the first Mass Effect competes even with 2010's Heavy Rain.

They're both racing games. GT or Forza...how about going with the game that will load on the console you have?

Comparisons really don't matter in the end, it only looks good because you're staring at it. The rest of the world just cares about how it plays. I'll give the edge to Forza since I really haven't had as much in a racing game as I have with Forza. If you're SERIOUS about racing and consider it some sort of class thing then you should really be out there DRIVING cars, not pretending that you can afford it just because the game only cost you $60.

FF VIII was always my favorite. I think what did it for me was how very real and believable the characters were, it didn't matter to me that they were radically different from the style of art in FF VII. Both have a special place in my personal gaming history, but VIII's love story totally wins over Cloud and Aerith's from FF VII.

And the junction system wasn't bad at all, you just had to work a lot more. What's wrong with an rpg battle system that makes you earn your battles? Even at level 100 you could face an enemy somewhere that would put your team out of commission if you weren't preemptive in setting up your crew for the area you're trekking through. View

Heavy Rain is not 1080p. Neither is God of War 3, KillZone 2, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, MGS 4 (subHD), or GT 5p (< full 1080p =/= 1080p)

And it didn't take graphics for a 2007 Halo game to still beat the sh!t out of a 2009 PS3 fps...Uncharted 2 hasn't been able to match ODST's sales...face it, Halo Reach is going to be something that Sony wishes it didn't have to go up against.

It's only the fanboys who would still think that Xbox 360 would fail in 2009...the rest of the REAL world sees Xbox 360 as a force to reckon with.

Microsoft made a solid console, gave it massive processing power, and then made the gamers happy. That's all that matters. If Halo sells it's because it makes the gamers happy.

Look at Oni...it didn't sell. Look at Uncharted 2...it barely sold. View
