Gamesblow has said the following:

"The main gist on this kick ass, revolutionary, feature that will send the PS3 miles ahead of the competition.

The short and sweet of it all --

PSN-connect is literally right out of a si-fi movie. You use the eyetoy in conjunction with the sixaxis controller and never have to leave what you’re doing for a menue or an option.

you simply grab and pull and drop and initiate all your XMB options on the fly... move them out of the way and resume playing your game or movie at will. It was absolutely stunning to watch this demonstration in motion.

Messaging a friend in game was as easy as pulling the menu into view using a free hand. Bringing up various functions and features of the PS3 were a snap and easily navigated on the fly in real time, all using your hands and nothing else. No buttons whatsoever.

Once your task is completed, simply push it aside and start playing again. It was that easy. It looked absolutely next gen and nothing on the xbox 360 or wii will be able to top this feature. Nothing.

Forget in game xmb, folks. This is the future... sure you’ll need an eyetoy to enjoy this at its maximum potential, but using the sixaxis for navigation was pretty slick too. Albeit, not as slick...

Think Minority report, only... you’re not a complete Ham like Tom Cruise is, right? It was about like that, only not as high tech of course. This, we’re told, is only the tip of the ice berg when using PS3 in conjunction with the eyetoy and what Sony has planned for 2010.

Stay successful, folks.

EDIT: PSN-connect is hitting this year, mind you... not in 2010... They have something even bigger planned for 2010."

Hmmmm sounds interesting , no?

Something big is coming i can feel it in me waters!

Keyword : Currently.

The PR is not lying. It is a fact that there are "currently" no plans. Even if they announce it tomorrow, doesn't mean they are lying. That's how I always see it. View

wow everybody agrees to each other except one person that got a disagree.

Anyway, I have linux install in my ps3. I used it like 7 times and move on to windows 7. It is good and all but it is a headache to look for drivers and sh1t. View
