Can completely understand that. Nolan North in terms of movies = WHO??? Where as someone like Hugh Jackman = $$$

The thing that is keeping me at bay at the moment is that I don't think the movie will be made as a simple cash grab. It will hopefully be that the choices made all compliment each other and are made in the best interests of getting the absolute best movie possible. Amy Hennig should have some say in it too, she'll do us proud.

Hmmm, I dunno if Hugh is right for the role personally.

I love Hugh as an actor and he's a great bloke. But I just don't know if he can pull off this type of role.

Drake is the clumsy hero, the type of guy who will fumble and bumble his way to victory. Hugh isn't that type of a guy in his movies, take a look at Wolverine, the guy is flawless, more or less.

One thing I'm not so sure of as well is Hugh's ability to throw in the casual humourous line. Hugh's comedy tends to be more IN YOUR FACE than subtle, playful or the odd fantastic one liners which is what Drake needs.

I've said it before and I'll say it now in agreeance with SeanScythe and Arsenic Nathan Fillion is the man to play Nathan Drake, he is PERFECT for the role.

Failing that, why couldn't North do it himself? The guy has proven himself with the voice and mo-cap work in both Uncharted games and he looks a lot like Drake as it is. Get him a bit fit and I don't see why he couldn't play the role. I mean he IS the guy they're modelling the movie character off, so why not go against the grain and get the actual voice actor to play the character in the movie? View

I agree with Bell Boy, sell your PS3 (If you do actually have one) as obviously you're too blind with 360 love juice to possibly want to enjoy it. And if you won't, why friggen bother? You obviously dislike the PS3 and anything that comes out for it, so WHY BOTHER?!?!?! View

I haven't really taken a hugely deep look at much of the texture work in the Uncharted 2 beta yet. But there is a fair amount of high res stuff going on in those textures. While I do agree that the graphical content and brilliance of Uncharted 2 works on a much higher, bigger and different scale than just textures there's no doubt that, that stuff is still top notch too.

In terms of textures in a sandbox game inFAMOUS for mine has the best. Absolutely brilliant texture work on the most important thing which is the buildings, all of the textures really pop to the eye's from almost every angle and you have to go right up close before you actually see that they're flat. View

Hopefully that earlier leak of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune trophies coming into the game will result in those with a Platinum getting a reward too.

I'm currently 68% through Drake's Fortune's trophies and am very close to finishing on Crushing now so will hopefully have the Platinum by next week when Uncharted 2 is released.

Either way it's great to see a dev giving actual reward for grinding out the Platinum. Another reason why Naughty Dog are ahead of most of the other devs in both smarts and really reacting and giving for the consumer. View

You have to drive around it until it smashes it's face on the ground trying to get you and it has 3 tenticles stuck to the ground. You then drive into and knock the tenticles out of it's mouth. You have to do that 2 more times and you're done with that part. View

You have to realise that people complain about DLC being announced before a game has finished DEVELOPMENT.

In the cases of say RE5, SFIV, MW2, Forza 3 it is that these games are/were still in development when said DLC was announced as coming post release.

First off this isn't really an announcement of actual DLC either, it is just that they WILL have DLC.

I'd be just as disappointed as Capcom, IW, etc. if ND were announcing this stuff before the game had finished development as it could mean that they're just taking us for all we're worth. But they aren't. They're just saying the game is finished and are now looking to expand the multiplayer by adding new maps, etc. View

Some have already said it here. But basically the only thing multi-console owners need to look at here is content. Which game will give you the absolute full experience possible.

Batman: AA, Mirror's Edge, Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1&2 are some that you would choose for the PS3.

GTA IV, Fallout 3 (Because it has the DLC now, not later) and possibly MW2 are some that you would choose for the XBOX 360.

That is all taken into account that you don't mind choosing one game over the other because there are still other factors like friends, achievement/trophy count, controller, etc. But as I said if you don't mind choosing one game over another just to have the one with the most then those shouldn't matter.

Of course if you can't split what console to by the game for and want simply the BEST version then you can look. But at the end of the day it is going to be the most nit-picky thing you can get and it will rarely change your gaming experience.

TBCH I never even noticed the issues with The Orange Box until I read about them on the internet (Completely agree it was well and truly playable, just had poor load times and occasional framerate dips). Maybe I'm not the most diligent gamer in the world. But I had no issues with The Orange Box and still loved it just like everyone else who has played it did. View

Great interview, asked all the questions that I wanted to be asked.

This game is looking great at the moment. The E3 showing and GamesCom trailer both show off not only the great depth and ease in the creation mode, but also show off how different the courses can look. There will be some insane levels. I just hope the dud ones can find their way out of my search results though.

What UFG need to do most of all though if you ask me is get together with Media Molecule (As they have said they've already done to an extent) and ask them exactly how they do the how level selections because LBP didn't have the greatest start off with levels and finding the great ones.

A website with fan chosen courses as well would be a great idea just to find out what courses are the BEST of the best.

Hopefully some real substantial DLC too, not that I don't like the costumes that LBP gets but really the ratio of stuff worth buying and not is fairly low. The MGS pack was fantastic but we really haven't seen anything like that since until we get the Water soon. View

I'd rather doors that come off and a roll cage that is all but unnoticeable until you have to look "Closer" than not having them come off at all. ;) View
