JRPGS only seemed to be failing because S-E took a huge gamble with MS and it backfired as did mistwalker and now look what happened. They both went to making handheld games for a while and now S-E is back to PS3 support. MS the JRPG killer. Thye are to blame though not the console for paying for exclusivity for a console where the audience don't want that type of game. Fair enough they did it to try pull JRPG players onto the 360 however it didn't work. You need proof? Where is FF13 for 360 in Japan? There isn't one. That's your proof. View

You can bet your ass Halo will outsell every one of them to prove its still a shooters console though. Fable 3 has no 2010 release date it will probably be 2011. Also SC and ME 2 are on PC and the PC will have the Superior versions with my setup :) so you enjoy your mediocre versions on 360 I will be enjoying a better game on my PC :). View

I agree Mass effect gonna outshine Crackdown I don't like the new direction Crackdown is going the first one was so good why change something that's not broken? Also though Mass Effect is not an exclusive I guess so I guess we shouldn't compare. View

Obviously they have to compare at 720p to make up for the 360's inability and even at 720p I thought the 360 was supposed to be superior?? I think SEGA did an amazing job at porting with Sony's help so good it actually looks better than the original devs. View

I think you gotta decide what's more important. Free minis/ps1 games for a year or beta access. If you want BETA access then you got 3 packages to choose from but the free minis/PS1 games package with PS store discount seems like a really good idea! @ above its probably a vidzone alternative for US members. View

Sorry but JRPGs have been selling TERRIBLE on the 360 thats why SO4 is being ported to the PS3 with a superior version. Also why FF13 on the PS3 has sold more in just Japan in 1 DAY than ANY JRPG has in total on the 360 WORLDWIDE in LIFETIME sales(I don't mean put together I mean total sales worldwide). Now if that doesn't show that 360 is the worst format for JRPG's right now I don't know what is. In fact no JRPG has sold over 1 million copies on the 360 worldwide yet. View

@i3eyond the Circle - you chat a lot of crap dont you? there are more PC's in the world than ANY console and as much as I agree with your FFVII analogy that was one of the few console games back then that came to PC unlike today. Today most console games make it to PC unlike in the 90's where as the PC market was very separate from the console market. I mean you even got special console versions of PC games like Red Alert for PS1 was completely different from PC version etc.. So stop with the fanboy crap and stick to the facts which you plainly know yourself and are ignoring.

PS2 had thousands of games that NEVER made it to PC or other console and the PS3 are getting a lot of true exclusives. Even the wii has a LOT of games that will never make it to the PC. However near all 360 games are ported to the 360 already or are going to be. Gears 1 proved this theory. The reason for this is simple 360 is built a LOT like a PC so porting the games is Very easy compared to other consoles which saves on development costs and makes some extra profit for developers. Plus piracy on 360 surely isn't helping. View
