What competition?
Any other BIG WRPGs coming out around the same time? This game already has a user-base that will probably grow when this installment is out. It will be success based of Reviews and Sales, now about the actual game we'll see.
No one on here is a real PC gamer, only when a good Xbox 360 game thats also on PC comes out, do Closet PC gamers come out.

This fanboy crap, I mean a good game is a good game. I'll buy if I'm in to it not because it's the best in the genre or something.
Why do some feel like they always have to choose 1, just 1 out of a GENRE?

FFXII felt so MMORPGish...is probably where I was going with that.
I hated setting up gambits to do auto- work.[felt cheap and easy] Only to sometimes have your guys aimelessy start fights or walk where they shouldn't.

If it's one thing tha tI do know....
The first "Final Fantasy" game to hit a next-gen consoles have been treats.
[SNES] Final Fantasy III
[PSX] Final Fantasy VII
[PS2] Final Fantasy X
[PS3/360] Final Fantasy XIII
There are major difference this time around with no "Hironobu Sakaguchi" or "Nobuo Uematsu" at the helms.
With FFXII[not my favorite] the game turned into an MMORPG style instead of you traditional(turn-based) I've been used to. I do not play MMORPGs so I'm not that fond of that direction hence why I love "Lost Odyssey" style gameplay/music.
We'll see when this comes out, I still do not know the Battle style. Anyhow I'm still not sold on Square-Enix and still was a big fan of Squaresoft.[Looking at history]

Were you vexed when US/Europe had to wait almost a year for FFXII?
Square has never released the "core game" earlier than or simultaneously with Japan. Waited like 9 months for FFXII in the US. Plenty of games to play before peeps take a bite out of this one.
