This could be dumb for multiple reasons....

Time Warner (parent) owns TW cable, Warner Bros, CW, CBS, and others.

Those companies have media on XBL and other digital providers.

Limit the bandwidth and you limit your sales because people don't want to download and go over.

You think people will pay Time Warner more money for more bandwidth to pay to download Time Warner content?

Brilliant idiots.

The issue is that all these companies while owned by Time Warner (parent) work independently. They need some cooperation or else they're all going to fook each other with this move. The "parent" needs to step in and fix this fast. View

I'll say it again

If you love your PS3 so much and it has such great games, then buy them and up the attach rate.

Sony can move the PS3 as a movie player, but if the games don't sell, then publishers won't make any more.

It comes down to you. You brag about how great the PS3 is, then buy the games. You have to ask yourself: "Why is the game attach rate so low if the system is supposedly so good?"

So again. Stop talking about how great your console is and start buying these amazing games you always talk about. Then maybe the PS3 will get some titles. Until then, it's all talk about an interactive movie player.

Yes, without a respectable games attach rate, it's a movie player. Spin this however you want, but you make the money on the blades, not the razors. That means Sony is just bleeding cash until it sells some games.

So what was your spin again Sony fanboys?

Nintendo is number 1 in 2/3 of the world

45% of ALL console money in the US (the LARGEST market) is huge. Let's all hold hands around a fire and sing "PS3 will overcooommee. We shall overcooommmee."

It's all business. It doesn't even affect you that much as all the consoles have great games coming out (maybe not the Wii so much, as usual, the only quality titles on Nintendo consoles are 1st party).

Stop complaining. Here's a tip. If you love your PS3 so much, buy some games. Blu ray movies don't count in game attach rates. View

Remember E3? Sony showed Unreal Tournament III as a PS3 exclusive despite it being announced as a multi-platform timed exclusive and conveniently left out the word "timed".

Now that's a rare case and not what the xbox fanboy was talking about, but I just like pointing stuff out. ;)

Besides that, no Sony doesn't try to make multi-platform games look exclusive. At least no more than any other company does. Remember Guitar Hero II commercials? They all ended with the Xbox 360 logo. That was multi-platform though. View

You I don't think a site named "Xbox Family" reviews PS3 games. So tacking PS3 onto this submission wouldn't be fair to the PS3 version. If Sony sites choose to go easier on their version, that's their choice as reviews are only opinions anyways.

But you can't expect this review to apply to the PS3 version since it's not the PS3 version being reviewed. View

Duh

If you played BD, you know these guys keep it traditional. And that's GREAT! Like everyone (so far) has said - SNES had the best JRPGs. I'm not a fan of this modern trend of western RPGs (ala Oblivion). I like my RPG cheesy, japanese, turn-based, and story driven. That last part is to say, I like watching the story unfold rather than directing (like western RPGs).

There's a reason FF III (VI) and the old Dragon Quest games are such classics. View
